| I was unable to find a gear knob that i liked for the mondeo. This alloy race one is from a vauxhall cavalier that was slightly modified to fit. The only downfall is that it's very cold in the winter! Checker floor mats have been added to continue the theme. |
| The handbrake is carbon fibre / alloy. It's from the standard range and was slightly too small in diameter to fit over the existing internal mondeo handbrake. It was filed down and the button surround was cut away to ensure a nice flush fit with easy access to the handbrake button. |
| The standard mondeo pedals have been replaced with sparco alloy race pedals. These are mounted to the pedal storks with two bolts per pedal. The accelerator has a widened bottom bringing it closer to the brake pedal. This makes it easier to "heel and toe". |
| The standard steering wheel is height adjustable and is set at it's lowest position, giving me a clear view of the rev counter from my seat. |
