WHO IS NOYZ?

A 13 year veteran to hip hop, Noyz is a underground MC from the collective known as Group Therapy. His creative, sometimes subliminal lyrics can paint descriptive pictures on any canvas. Whether heard on R&B cuts such as DeLanoyes If You Were Mine or his own, eerie hip hop joints like Confused, Noyz delivers a potent dose of his self-acclaimed Lyrical Pollution. Hailing from his hometown of Vacaville, CA, Noyz first recorded in 1992 as a member in the Will C. Wood High School group Xplicit. Xplicit, consisting of then members Noyz, Speed, Ill-Niz and producer Toxic Animator released two underground E-Ps including songs Flowin, Bang! and the combustible Phunk Talkaz.
After graduation in 1994, Ill-Niz (R.I.P.) went his separate way while Speed took the opportunity to attend college in Colorado. Noyz stayed local with Toxic Animator and worked feverishly on new product. Finally hitting the right feel with 1995s original version of Confused, Noyz began to highlight other rappers tracks with cameos. In 1997, Noyz began writing for long-time friend DeLanoye. DeLanoyes popular vocal athletics and stage-consuming performances made If You Were Mine an instant underground hit. Now known as Group Therapy, Noyz, Speed and DeLanoye began recording a full-length album. Although distance kept Speed from appearing on Noyz & DeLanoyes At Odds Till Were Even CD, he was a big part in track selection and coaching. Bouncing off eachother, says Noyz, is how they stay together. Released to the underground circuit in January of 2000, At Odds Till Were Even has been gaining momentum ever since. Tracks like I Cant Be Home and Keep Fallin Apart are constant requests at shows. However, dont look for Group Therapy material in your local record shop---because it is available exclusively through GTM related websites. Whats in store for Noyz now? No one knows except Noyz himself, as he feverishly continues to work on the next project
