yep, looks like i did it again. welcome to v.8.0.1 "Futures Past". my last layout was done in such a hurry, i really neglected it. hopefully this one will stick around longer.

yep, looks like i finally got enough time to finish ClozedMindz version 8!!! this version really didn't take that long to make all things considered. it probably took me longer due to lack of time management on my behalf. although it's not as graphical as my last version, i really like it. for all you people that hated on my last version, all i can say is screw you. no one asked anyone to come here, this is my personal site and if you don't like what you see here, then you don't have to come back. i hate to get like that, but i'm tired of people hating on my site. well, enough of that crap, this is a new version so i hope everyone likes it!

ok kids, can't you read??? i've already stated that i can NOT receive viruses. WHY DO YOU STILL TRY? you can send it anywhere you want, but if it comes to me (on any email account), it won't work. this day in age, people have to protect themselves from lil kids who have nothing better to do than send out crap mail. Thanks to my ISP and Norton 2003 Pro, it's safe to say that any email attempt to infect my computer won't work.

in other news, i started to work on my wife's site. i'm not giving out the url, so don't ask. it's not my site, so if you want to view it, you'll have to do your homework and find out how to contact her and ask her for the url. if you need a hint, look up to the sky.

ok, looks like i need to get a few things straight. i never claimed to be a 'pro' at websites. infact, "someone" is right, this site isn't compatible with every browser. if you think of all the browsers out there, i'm sure not every site is. anyone can make a website and throw it up on the net. i'm still learning just like everyone else is. if i was such a pro like "someone" wants me to be, then i wouldn't be where i'm at now. i'd probably be sitting behind a desk for a living designing sites for major clients. to re-comment on the post below, i'm just tired of people asking me to make some sort of graphic and then exploiting it. people have asked for one, then three, then more than that even. i'm not a pro and it takes time to make graphics at the rate others expect me to. time i don't have. if i did, i'd have a new layout so "someone" can stop complaining about this one. i never asked "someone" to visit this site so i don't see why they critique it so much. must just be one of those things that i'll never understand.

why is it that when someone on aol finds out you know how to do something, they want to use you. see, just because i know how to do websites, everyone is asking me how to do stuff. i put up a 'blinkie' and now people ask me to make 'blinkies' for them. some people even ask me to make them more than one! want my advice? learn how to do it yourselves!!! everyone has to start out somewhere, why not start to learn now? go get yourself an art program and learn, learn, LEARN!

today i got home from work and checked my tag-board. someone had the nerve to say that i "stole" my layout from www.technetic.net. well, that is only partially true. if anyone would happen to notice, although the layout has a resemblance, all my art for this layout is original. there seems to be some controversy with www.technetic.net anyways. if anyone with half a brain can figure out, if you look at the art in the navigation where it says "stats" or "site stats" it appears to be faded and blurred. any artist would conclude that it is someone trying to alter the original image. if anyone sees any images like that on my site, would you please contact me and let me know? if you want to know the whole story with www.technetic.net, just search the site and read the posts or tags. the whole story is there. so next time when someone says my site is "stolen" would they please leave a way for me to contact them? i'd love to debate the finer points of adobe photoshop and html with them.

<edit> btw, i took down my 'custom layout' section. i see no point in making layouts for kids that are ungrateful. after all, if you really want it done a certain way, do it your self. this change is permanent. any layouts that were being worked on, whether listed or not, will not be completed. sorry for any inconveniences. </edit>

well, my wife and son went on a trip tonight. they left with some of her family to go down to Missouri. i welcome the vacation away from them, but i'm really sad that they left. now i'll be sittin here all by myself for the next 5 days. what really sucks is that i'm the only one my son will go to sleep for. lol, guess my wife is in for a rough 5 days. yesterday i finished the layout for LEX APPEAI. when i got ahold of her on aol/aim, she really didn't seem all that grateful that i made it. i just wonder if she liked it. lol, she never said. oh well. i'm thinking about taking the free custom layouts off the site. seems like everyone wants to be a certain way and when it's not, they like to complain about it. here's my two cents... if you wanted it done YOUR way, then do it yourself!!! either that or be very exact when you fill out my form. that's what it's there for! ok, i vented, i feel better now. anyways, looks like i'll have lots of time to work on version 8.0 this week. i can't wait till it's done. it's driving me crazy with all the ideas i want it to include.

Happy 4th of July

my 4th of july started of sorta crappy. it was WAY to hot outside this year so it put me in a bad mood. i mean, i work all day in all this heat we've been having so to spend yet another one in it made me mad. my son had fun though. he's only 11 months old and the reason he had fun was that he had his own pool. not that it was a big pool, but you get the point. after the sun went down, it cooled off quite a bit so my wife and son and i went down to the lake front to watch the fireworks. every year thousands of people go down there to watch them. usually most people make a day out of it, so by the time we got down there, there really wasn't much of a place to sit where a tree wasn't blocking the view, but we found a decent spot. the three of us had a blast down there. my son really didn't take his eyes off the sky unless someone on the ground was lighting fireworks, lol. after about a 45 min display it was time to go home to the air-conditioned house!! that about sums up my 4th, i hope you all had a happy 4th of july too!

ok kids, let's get one thing straight... for those of you who visit this site and think it's funny to send worms to other people, MY ISP (which my web mail is forwarded to) HAS IT'S OWN SEPARATE VIRUS PROTECTION. didn't i make that clear enough about a month ago when someone tried to do that? any emails that you send me are filtered for viruses. for those of you who visit this site, and i know there are alot, why not leave a msg on the tag-board to let me know you're alive? last night, i went to sleep and idled in an AOL chat room and in 7 hrs got over 200 hits. did anyone leave me a msg on my tag-board??? NO! lol, oh well. anyways... just wanted to say happy b-day to my mom. yea, my family (who lives in another city) checks up on my site every now and then. so when you read this mom, happy b-day!! version 8 is coming along nice, i can't wait till it's done. i'm really taking my time with it though. no hurry. YAY, i get paid today. it's always nice to get paid a day early. thanks to the 4th of July that is. well, time to go pick it up, i'll post later today cuz i know i'll be bored with not much else to do, lol.

today has been a boring day. what else can i say? work sucks, yet i go there every day. oh yea, don, if you ever decide to read this, TAKE ME OFF THE 'eO' MAILING LIST! your group sucks and i'm tired of getting over 200 emails a day. i really see no point in everyone emailing everyone else every damn day. i mean come on, there has to be better things to do than send out emails all day. hmmm... i seem to be so bored i can't think of anything to write. that sucks. i think my winamp is broken, it keeps playing LINKIN PARK - NOBODY'S LISTENING over and over and over. i wonder why that is? i'm sure i'll figure it out sooner or later. in the mean time, i think i'll just sit back and listen to it. not much else to do.

i'd like to say thanks for all the people to have posted on my tag board. i really appreciate all the wonderful comments. i know it's been a long time since i updated my 'thoughts' section, but i've been very busy working for other people. for awhile there, i was in a group called "Eternal Outlawz" and that was good for the most part. the ideals that brought me into that group didn't follow through to it's members. it was supposed to be for 'mature' people, LOL. yea right. don't get me wrong, i really liked the people and the devotion they have to 'eO', but the "ghetto-ness" was too much for me. sorry to everyone i came in contact with, if you read this, hit me up, i'd still love to talk to you all! i just didn't want to remain a member. now about ClozedMindz.com... version 6 was ok, but not sharp enough for me anymore. i know version 7.0 isn't much of a layout change, but i really don't want to give up this good layout. i've heard only good things about it so why kill it??? version 7.0 will be around for a lil bit, but version 8.0 "revisited" is already in the works. version 8.0 will be worked on when i have the free time. RL comes first as always! lets see, what else can i annoy you with here... oh yea, i plan on getting a few people together for versions 7.0+ for newsgroups/postings and a few lil 'job' ideas that i got while i was with 'eO'. if anyone is interested in becoming part of the ClozedMindz family, contact me and we'll talk.
