Arashi news
this autumn, from 10.3, first 'arashi only' show will start at nihon terebi. the title is
'mayonaka no arashi' (temp.) this show will have each arashi member ride on the last
train at night, get off, and then travel by a bicycle to various place in japan. each
journey will end when the sun rises in the morning. starting from the south, it will
be a relay trip, eg., one member will end his journey at one of the train station then
another member will continue from that station to the next.

Arashi new sigle will release in 1 August not sure about which song but can sure that
there's "Jidai" which the song theme of Jun's drama "Kindaichi Shonen No Jikenbo"

SMAP NEW SINGLE
I found out on the oricon website that SMAP is coming out with a new single and album.
The single is coming out 7/28 (this Saturday). It is called SMAC (SMAP Music Anniversery CD).
This song seems to have different lyrics from wach of their songs in it. They combined
those lyrics to make this new song.

The new album is coming out on 8/8. This album is the best of their old songs or
not like those famous famous ones but the ones that are like track 2 on their singles.
Well, it is called PAMS. (You read it as UraSma.)

Since the beginning of debut of the duo idols, KinKi Kids, this is the
time to perform a film concert which is decided to be started
nation-wide on August. The keyword of a new expansion is [Area/region].
Let's see an activity for a local city as seen in a concept, both of
them will circulate the film for 12 areas nation-wide, they will perform
approximately 60 performances. Expected is about 200000 guests will
come, this can be considered as the greatest film concert in history.
Later, in the end of year, they will perform in Tokyo Dome for 4
consecutive years. In Summer every year, KinKi Kids hold large concert
performances at Yokohama and Osaka. This year, they hold concerts in
Tokyo and KinKi areas, and it causes a progressive expansion in these
areas. The film concert is taken since their 1993 concerts. It's all
need the works of both members, Kouichi Doumoto (22) & Tsuyoshi Doumoto
(22) to do offshoot in various places, stand in stages, and also do the
talk. Except Yokohama and Nagoya, which has 1600-2400 seats hall. Every
stadium which hold their concert are fully-occupied, it seems that fans
from nation wide really get their chances to meet them, to get near with
them. The duration of the film is 1 hour. The organization and all
things are not yet officially announced, but the sound system used will
be like the usual concerts. The setting plannings are from each areas'
unique designs. On 7/25, they will release a new album [E Album], where
you can find the application attached in the limited first press. [This
year also, they will have concerts in Tokyo & Osaka Dome]. At the
beginning of this year also, a concert series were held in Tokyo and
Osaka Dome. The public performances in Tokyo Dome are from 1998/12/30
until the New Year's day of 1999, it was 3 days totally, that time, they
were still 10's boys. This was the greatest youth history in
entertainment industry. Kouichi Doumoto, who was born in the New Year's
day, he has got lots of memories having birthday and getting mature
while doing public performances on the stages. Since there will be
KinKi Kids' concerts at Tokyo Dome in the end of this year also, you
should have started to make seats reservations. Previously, on 1994
until 1997, X-Japan had 4 consecutive years of having concerts there.
This year, KinKi Kids will have the same records with them. On the other
hand, areas expansion seems will be able to proof that their usual
concerts are more powerful and not let the scale of expansion go down.

The newspaper said they started their relation as friend since last year.
And they have many opportunity to meet each other in music program
such as "Music Station" Recently they had a trip to Hakone ( total 6 persons
Takki, Ami and Ami's family ). The news paper also report that Takki is
person who drive a car for this trip! Mr. Hitagawa said Takky already
told him about this trip. But I still wonder cause the strict rule of JE is they
can't have girlfriend, so why this news happen.

Domoto Koichi produce Fuji Summer Song. Title is "LOVE together" Image
song for Odaiba. This song was sang by "I N G shinkoukei" new unit in
Johnny's Jr. They will have miniconert ( date is undecided ) during Odaiba

Summerrize of New releases from Johnny's Entertainment:
- SMAP's new concert VCD is out in Japan, it's the latest concert after
Takuya Kimura's marriage annoucement. For Singaporeans, the VCD
version of it is out, the price is about S$29.90 for two discs.

- V6's "Very Happy" concert is out. There's four discs in all, and it features
their latest concert in Japan. For Singaporeans, it's out in Sembawang
Music Store, for S$29.90? Information is taken off the V6 mailing list.

- Kinki Kids KISS VDO clips Part 1 and 2 out in Taiwan and Japan. For
Singaporeans, it's out in HMV at the promotion price of S$15.99 each,
and other places like Sembawang Music Store's selling it for S$16.99,
so ya know where to get it!

- Sugao 3, the Johnny's Juniors Spring Concert 2000, VCD format out in
Taiwan. I've seen it, the clipage of them off-stage are all scenes taken
during their photoshoots for the Juniors calendar and Meikan this year.
Kawaii ne! do check it out if you're a huge Takky & Tsubasa fan or a huge
Yamapi or Toma fan!

- Kinki Kids' new single "Jounetsu", the theme song for Koichi's drama,
"Rookie" is out in Japan. For Singaporeans, it's out in HMV already, and
I think it might be out in Towers too... The PV of the song is also out on MTV
Taiwan, ither program "Dong Yang Da Ren Qi" or J-hits non-stop for the PV.

- Tomoya Nagase has a photobook out. It's actually meant for the character
of his drama on in Japan right now, and the title of the book is named after
his character in it instead of under his real name.

- Tokio's new single "Message" is out in Japan. The c/o track is a song by
Nagase's role in his new drama, I think the title of the song is "One person's
toothbrush" or something like that... The PV of the song, "Message" is also
out on MTV Taiwan, check out either program "Dong Yang Da Ren Qi" or
J-hits non-stop for the PV.

- V6's new single, "Kiseki no Hajimari" out on the 20th in Japan. The song is
the theme song of Tsubasa Imai & Ken Miyake's new drama "Neverland" to
be shown in Japan on the 19th of July. The c/o song is "SHODO" but
Kamisen. The PV for "Kiseki no Hajimari" is out on MTV Taiwan, check out

Imai Tsubasa from the Tokyo Juniors, Ken Miyake from V6, Koki Tanaka
from Kat-Tun, Toma Ikuta from the Tokyo Juniors and Muragami Shingo
from the Kansai Juniors will be starring in a new high school drama in July.
Shooting of the drama is in progress at the moment and it'll be on in Japan
on TBS at 9p.m. from the 19th of July. The lead of the drama will be Imai
Tsubasa, who is going to star as the lead actor for the first time in a drama.

Takuya Kimura from SMAP has a new daughter! The baby girl was born on
May the 1st and he has named her Kokomi Takuya, in hope that she'll grow
up with a beautiful heart in the future. Offers to have his new born girl to
promote baby products in Japan are pouring in even though the baby is
barely a week old! Kimura has given his wife and daughter a necklace each,
with their names engraved on it as a show of his love for the both of them.

Arashi chatted with 228 fans on the 18th of April. The fans called in and they
were lucky to be able to speak with their idols in person, by keying in the
pin-number given in the call-card that was given away with their latest single,
"Kimi no Tame ni Boku ga Iru". Callers included people from Hong Kong and
Taiwan and the age range of the callers who got to chat with them are from
four to forty. The music clip for the single can be seen, for Singaporeans, on
SCV channel 21 at the moment.

Takky and Imai have expressed that the solo debut thing is not confirmed,
and they're trying to see if they can come up with a different kind of solo to
their careers instead of absolute solo debut.

Tomoya Nagase from Tokio held a hand-shaking session in Japan lately for
his drama that is telecasted in Japan right now. The footage of the
hand-shaking session will be put into the drama and at the same time, he
released a photobook under the name of the character he is playing in the
drama. The back of the book even has a complete discography of his
character's "career" along with the "movies" the character has acted in and
so on. In addition, in earlier eposides, excerpts of the Tokio's concert were
used for the drama too!

Tokio's new single "Message" went to the No.1 spot on the Oricon Pop
Charts upon it's release. It's the first time Tokio has gone to the top spot
on the Oricon charts and their highest position before this was No.2
position. Omedetto ne, Tokio! Gambatte kudaisai!

Kinki Kids set a new record in Japan Entertainment history by being the
first group ever to have twelve straight Oricon number one singles from
their debut till now, with "Jounetsu" being the twelve single to go to the
number one stop in the Oricon charts and "Glass no Shonen" the first.
The jimusho is currently applying for them to enter the World Records with
this amazing sales record and if they succeed, they'll replace Michael
Jackson as the record holder!

Kinki Kids!!
I heard some great news! KinKi Kids might be able to be in the very famous
and honorable "Guineas Book Of Records"! They had 11 consecutive #1
singles since their debut and they surpassed the previous record of
5 consecutive #1 singles. I think this is totally awesome!

I've watched Muko Dono. Aiba is Ryo. He is very cute when he wear student
uniform. Tomoya is cool when he is Yuichiro. But when he stay with his
girlfriend he change much. I like when his gf call him "Yuu-chan" I think this
drama is very interesting.The story is fun.

Speed Star, Have you watched this? Takki look very cool in this drama. He
suit with this character much. But Ohno appaer only first 10 mins the he die

I watched Mc Donalds CM for 4 times. Aiba ask that "Why my Mc Donalds
has gone? Nino?" then Nino say "Chigau yo ( No )" Jun say "Ore janai
( Not me )" and Sho say "Chigau Chigau" All them are kawaii.
Ohno also say "No" Then Aiba angry. He is very cute.

Only 1st episode that I've watched. They promote "Doumoto Kyoudai" by Sing
"Doumoto Kyoudai no Theme" and have interview in myny program of Fuji TV
such as "Waratte II Tomo" By the way I like their them & title much. Very cool.
Tsuyoshi looks thin in that. Is he lost his weight?

About new drama and rumer of Arashi
Just got this news and was quite shocked. Arashi will be divided into 2
sub-group (just like Kamisen & Tonisen in V6), but the main group is
still work as Arashi. The new subgroups will be "Kaze" which will contains
Aiba, Oono, and Matsujun, while the other one is "Yama" with Sho and Nino
inside.

There will be a new drama called "NEVERLAND" which will be roled by 4
Johnny's talents, they are Ken Miyake, Tsubasa Imai,Toma Ikuta (1 more
I don't remember). I heard that this drama is a special show so no long
episodes, wonder if it's true or not.

In Jr. Spring Concert on 5th May 2001, Takki sang "Everlasting LOVE" which he
compose both word & music by himself. And Tsubasa sang the song that word
by himself too. That song is name "1DAY NIGHT" Finally Takki sang "Lion Heart"
For Kokomi-chan.
