Dr. Sumo is also accompanied by his manager, Mr. Ginsu, ( A former wrestler who was dis barred from many previouss wrestling leagues. due to his unorthodox wrewstling tactics - it is rumored he once crippled another wrestler many years ago). Mr. Ginsu is ALWAYS well dressed in a suit, with bowler hat and cane. As his manager Mr. Ginsu will generally do most of the speaking for Dr. Sumo, and is very eloquent. Mr. Ginsu will occassionally interfere in Dr. Sumo's matches, and thus far Dr. Sumo has remained unaware of his manger's "interference" in his matches. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Wrestler's Appearance) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dr. Sumo is GIGANITIC (well over six feet tall and over two eet wide at the shoulder. Despite hi sweight, Dr. Sumo has comparatively little fat, and is INCREDIBLY strong, being primarily a wall of force and muscle. ( Rumor has it that he "suffers" from some kind of mutation as a result of left over radiation from a nuclear attack on his home city back in WWII). Dr. Sumo has a large tattoo of a Black Dragon on his back, wears his hair in a traditional Samurai "topnot" and always steps into the arena wearing a traditional samurai kimono, dragon adorned tights and taloned boots. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Signature Moves) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.) The Earthquake - (Once an opponent is stunned/prone, Dr. Sumo will climb to the second turn buckle and dive-bomb the prone wrestler). 2.) The Thunderbolt - (Dr. Sumo will only use this maneuver against an opponent of approximately 300 pounds or less - Once an opponent is stunned, Dr. Sumo will lift the opponent over his head and drop the indiviidual in a back-breaker on Dr. Sumo's knee ) 3.) The Tsunami - ( This is a combination maneuver where Dr. Sumo will hurl his opponentinto the ropes, as his opponent returns Dr. Sumo then grasps his opponent in a claw hold to the face as Dr. Sumo then body-slams the opponent to the mat while maintaining the claw hold ). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Wrestler's History) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Born in the aftermath of the nuclear fires following Hiroshima, Dr. Sumo is a living force of nature. Dr. Sumo is extermely well educated, and despite his large size, he has mastered the martial arts of Judo and Aikido, possessing a second-degree black belt in both arts. Dr. Sumo has always been interested in wrestling and competing, but was considered to have the wrong build and to be too massive to become a true sumo. Dr. Sumo did manage to compete in the back alley street fights sponsored by the Yakuza - Black Dragon Society, but eventually arrested for his involvement in that "criminal" organization. Though he was cleared of all charges, Dr. Sumo considered himself dishonored, and left all competition until he met Mr. Ginsu who agreed to manage Dr. Sumo in the NWW since no one there cares about his size/weight or his "criminal" backgroiund. Dr. Sumo is very honorable man who considers himself a modern day Samurai following the warrior's code of Bushido. As he considers most opponents "beneath" him, Dr. Sumo rarely speaks (Mr. Ginsu does that), and will only directly speak to an opponent who he respects. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
