I'll get some pictures Posted as soon I Can until then enjoy!!!
I recently aquired a 1975 Chevy Suburban frame with Axels
Here are the Specs as I've figured them out so far
Rear axel      14 bolt FF 8 lug
Suspention     Stock Chevy 3/4 ton
Front Axel    HD Dana 44 with external Hubs 8 Lug
Later plan on installing an Air locker
Not sure if it has The "Gov' Loc" in the rear axel or not Nor am I sure what the gear ratio is right now  Gonna be looking into that later
Updated Plans For the truck
Now that I have the Suburban Frame Listed above here is the basic lay out of the new plans for my truck
Referbishing the axels on the Suburban frame
After all the body work is done to the 84 Nissan going to mount it on the Suburban frame After I shorten the frame to fit.
Want to get  a Sm465 transmission with a 205 tranfer case and at a later date want to get the David Gear box from Klune-V
I Haven't completely decieded if I want to Use the 4.3 I have or Get a 350 V-8 That may depend on what I have at the time  But I do have the engine for sale or trade (The 4.3 that is and I would prefer trade )
Regardless of  What Engine I use I'm planning on running Duel stacks that will be routed along the outside of the frame and up through the bed as close to the outside corners as possible.
For Gas holding puposes I'm going to run Duel Chevy truck "Saddle" Tanks Fun Part is I'm only useing One filler neck to fill both tanks
The Body work to the Nissan has changed a little as well rather then just makeing everything back to factory looks I'm going to be opening up the wheel wells to fit 38 inch tires in the fenders with out rubbing
I'm also going to be intalling an ON-Board air compressor with Auxilery Air tanks under the bed and in the custom built bumpers front and rear
To get better approch and Departure angles i will be shortening the bed and Locateing the cab back as far as needed to locate the frount spring hangers as close as possible to the frount (Under the bumper if I can)
