Any rule not listed here shall keep its rule definition as described and written in the rules published by the National Governing Body (USSSA or ASA as applicable). |

ASA Rule Exceptions - General |
|
|
|
Facemask required on all batting helmets 10U level and up. |
|
|
|
All batting helmets will be properly equipped with fastened chinstraps. |
|
|
|
If while running the bases the runner's helmet comes off, the runner will be out. |
|
|
|
ASA umpires behind the plate for U10 & up. |
|
|
|
Minimum age for umpires in Coach Pitch & T-ball 16. Run rules 6 runs/inning 15 in 3, 12 in 4, or 10 in 5. Baselines are 60'. Pitching circle is 8' diameter. |
|
|
|
For levels T-ball, Coach Pitch and U10, no player shall sit on the bench more than 2 consecutive innings. |
