Inter-League Local Rule Exceptions
To 2005 ASA Rules
To be posted clearly by each league at all venues
Rules voted and confirmed by the following participating  Leagues:
Dewey Recreation Association (John Green), Nowata Baseball/Softball (Robert Webb-Baseball, Tracy Hicks-Softball), Barnsdall Softball (Pam  Moore), Oklahoma Union Baseball/Softball (George Hiatt), Caney Valley  Softball (Jerry Street).
Any issue associated with these rules should be directed to your league  representative.
Any rule not listed here shall keep its rule definition as described and  written in the rules published by the National Governing Body (USSSA or ASA as  applicable).
ASA Rule Exceptions - General
Facemask required on all batting helmets 10U level and up.
All batting helmets will be properly equipped with fastened chinstraps.
If while running the bases the runner?s helmet comes off, the runner will    be out.
ASA umpires behind the plate for U10 & up.
Minimum age for umpires in Coach Pitch & T-ball 16.
Run rules 6 runs/inning 15 in 3, 12 in 4, or 10 in 5.
Baselines are 60'.
Pitching circle is 8' diameter.
For levels T-ball, Coach Pitch and U10, no player shall sit on the bench more than 2 consecutive innings.
Official Ball for Regular Season Play: 11" Ball
ASA Rule Exceptions - Coach Pitch
Play is dead when PITCHER has control of ball in circle.
Umpire is to determine control.
10 players on field
Outfielders cannot cross the baseline to field the ball
No coaches on field when team is fielding.
Time limit 1 hour
Bat roster
Arch 20 feet back of home plate
OUTS at the plate:
3 swinging strikes
5 pitches, with no out on a foul ball
Batter hit by pitch
Counts as a pitch on pitches 1-4
On pitch 5, gets redo.
Pitching rubber is 35' from back of home plate
