TIME FOR 'DISUNITED' NATIONS TO GO
March 23, 2003 -- In light of the United Nations' complicity in
support of evil leaders like Saddam Hussein, we should boot this feckless
institution out of New York ("Disunited Nations," Editorial,
March 19).
This
worthless body could then take up residence somewhere more consistent with
its double-dealing, like France or Switzerland.
This
would leave a lovely building and site available to become the new World Trade Center.
Need I
mention the prime parking spaces and real estate that would become
available as diplomatic do-nothings, scofflaws and spies move to Europe?

I find
it amusing that as soon as the United States can no longer
manipulate the United Nations, it is suddenly considered
"irrelevant."
If
President Bush thinks the United Nations is so irrelevant, he should show
some real guts and withdraw from it. Then who would be the rogue
nation with the weapons of mass destruction?

The
United Nations has finally made itself useless and
proved that it should be disbanded.
From Somalia to Bosnia to the Middle East, the United Nations
has left a disaster for the United States and its allies to
clean up.

Now that
the United Nations has proven that it's totally useless, it's time to sell
the land under it to Donald Trump and let him build more apartments.

After America has disposed of
Saddam Hussein, let's pray our great nation will then dispose of the United
Nations.
Let's
withdraw from it completely and let our enemies who have dominated this
mockery of international harmony pack up and take their tucked tails over
to a country that would welcome them.
