Rateing: 8 1/2
This was an absolutely mind-blowing epic adventure! Great acting! Well-developed characters! This Sci-fi humor flick is tremendeous compared to all films these days. The storyline was great. The fact they have a woman saving the world is awesome, because t's about time that happens. Zorg was a great villan with a hillarious sense of humor, well says alot of funny things.
A closer look...
Very few lines of bad acting, great special effects and sound. The costumes were out of this world, and the hairstyles vere outrages in a good way. It must have taken loads of time to come up with something as great as that. I mean if you do look at the clothing and hairstyles during the Diva scene you'd see how amazing they are. The acting again was tremendeous, very little bad acting was in this movie. I'd say the plot was pretty good. Although the saving the world theme as a plot has been used in so many movie, but this one just seemed to have it a little different because instead of a man that has to save the world and a woman from dying. This movie has a woman that saves the world but the man sometimes saves the woman, which is why I rated it an 8 1/2 instead of a 9. But it's still a great movie! Go see it, you have to rent it though since it was made in 1997.
