Lord of the Rings- The Fellowship of the Ring
Running Time: 2-3 hours (long but a good movie)
Rating: 9
Review:
Alright, this was a long movie, but hey lots of the great movies are long, right? Just look at Amadeus. Well anyways. The characters were well developed, and I thought that the voices were great. Especially Aragorn's, and I'm not just saying that because I have a HUGE crush on him. I thought that Frodo's eyes were so neat, and how that whenever someone had a hidden expression like if they're worried but you can't see them in the actions I thought, this may just be me, but I thought you could see them in the eyes of the character. I think that they did well in special effects, but the costumes weren't as good as a few other movies, but hey this movie takes place in Middle Earth, what do you expect? I thought that the Hobbit town was excellently done! And the firework scene near perfection. I thought that the fact that they had one character (Boromir) that teetered from wanting the ring to helping Frodo was an excellent choice to put in the movie. I thought that they had the perfect actors for the parts also.
A Closer look-
I thought how they did all the creatures was very weel done, and how the voices for Gollum and when someone was like obsessed or whatever you would call it with the ring. And how in the beginning you have one of the elves telling the story form the beginning was a very good idea. And how near the end when... well I won't spoil it for you, oh your sure, alright. How in the end when Sam wants to go with Frodo and Frodo was in the boat and Sam tries to swim out but he can't swim and Sam doesn't care, Frodo saves him an dthey continue on the journey while the other Hobits are kidnapped and the other Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas went to find and get alive Mary and Pippin. That's about it...
