Rating:
The description was brilliant. It was so easy to see a clear picture of what this author was writing. The food made me hungry, the battles made me sad, and the scenery dazzled me. The introduction wasn’t as catchy as it could be. It lacked excitement because it’s like all the other introductions of Redwall books. The events were somewhat exciting. There should have been better scenes for the events to happen in. An example would be Martin fighting for his dear life in a vermin’s castle. The organization of the book was marvelous. I never got lost in all of the three weeks. I could even stop reading for a week and still not get lost. The characters were dull because the cook would just cook and a warrior would just fight. The same goes with most characters. The author should have made most of the characters do different jobs instead of just one per day. [Robert]
