SPOTS THAT HOLD ONSHORE. Punta Sabbioni (VE), Lignano Pineta (UD).
EQUIPMENT. Long, fish or allround board for averadge mushy beachbreak. Board with rails for hollow beachbreaks. Need a 3.2 wetsuit from late september but 4.3 or 5.4 with cap, gloves and winter boots are mandatory from november untill april.
SKATEPARKS. Iesolo (Venezia) Play Village close to stadium.
FOOD. Try "baccalà mantecato" (stockfish marinated in garlic, parsley and milk) and "Seppie in nero" Squid cooked in it's black ink.

• LIGNANO PINETA (UD) - LIGNANO
  E' l'unico spot della zona Lignano-Bibione. Arrivati a Lignano si seguono le indicazioni per Pineta. Giunti al parcheggio centrale si segue il lungomare a sinistra per 200 metri fino al pontile, facilmente riconoscibile per la Pagoda posta alla sua estremità. Lo spot lavora esclusivamente con mareggiate da S/E e S/W anche attive. Con swell da S/E é meglio il lato sud mentre il lato nord lavora meglio con S/O. Il lato nord produce destre corte ma potenti, il lato sud produce sia destre che sinistre. Con swell attiva la corrente è molto forte. Pochi i surfisti locali.
  Only this spot in the Lignano-Bibione area. From Lignano follow signs to Pineta. Follow seaside untill a pier (it has a Pagoda at the end). A frames with S/ on the south side. The north side is goog with S/W and produces a fast and short right. Strong rips with strong wind. Not crowds.

• SANT'ANNA (VE) - ADIGE
  Uscire dalla SS Romea (Ravenna-Venezia) all'indicazione "foce dell'adige". Proseguite verso nord, passate il ponte e prendete via Lungo Adige fino in fondo. Lavora con E, N/E e S/E. Onde fino a 2m su sabbia. Acqua torbida.
  Leave ss 309 Romea after Sant'Anna when see sign "Foce dell'Adige". Pass bridge and follow road till it ends. Spot with a lot of geographical potentials with N/E E, S/E. Waves up to 2m. Sand bottom. Muddy water.

• IESOLO (VE) - CORTELLAZZO
  Lunga sinistra alla foce del Piave, lavora con N/E

• PUNTA SABBIONI (VE) - PUNTA SABBIONI
  Seguite le frecce "Jesolo" da Mestre e da Jesolo segui le indicazioni per Punta Sabbioni; proseguite oltre l'attracco del ferry boat seguendo la strada sterrata in direzione del faro. Lavora con mareggiate da S e S/E, meglio se in scaduta ma regge discretamente swell attiva. Prevalenti le onde destre, qualità dell'acqua mediocre.
  From Jesolo follow road signs to Punta Sabbioni. Get off the ferry and follow dirt road toward the beacon. Nice hot dog wave on the east side of the local arbour jetty. Works with S and S/E swells, best during S/E falls. Mainly righthanders. Averadge water quality, sand bottom.

• CHIOGGIA (VE) - MOLO
  Uscite dalla statale 309 Romea (Chioggia è a sud di Venezia).
  Lo spot si raggiunge dal lungomare di Chioggia, sul lato Sud del molo del portocanale. Questo spot lavora con scadute da Sud e su fondale sabbioso rompono onde di scarsa potenza adatte a tavole lunghe (longboard). Data la qualità scadente dell'acqua, i tronchi del fiume e le recinzioni private, questo spot non è quasi mai surfato.
  Follow ss309 Romea toward Venice and see gign. South side of Chioggia harbour. Ugly setup, slope beachbreak that breaks with S and S/E swells. Polluted and deserted.
