USEFULL NUMBERS.Reggio Calabria tourist office 0965 21171. Ferry leaves from Napoli every evening around 8. You can chose between Tirrenia (nice and expensive) and Mediline. Mediline is a cargo company that accept also private cars. You get to Palermo for almost half price.

• ROCCELLA IONICA (RC) - ROCCELLA
  Tra Crotone e Reggio Calabria sulla statale 106.
  Secche di sabbia molto al largo funziona con mareggiate scadute da Grecale e Scirocco. Qualità dell'acqua ottima.
  Along coastal route 106 between crotone and Reggio Calabria. Good sandbank on E and S/E swells. Good water quality.

• CONDOJANNI (RC) - CONDOJANNI
  Spot alla foce della fiumara di Condojanni. Il fondale è misto di massi e sabbia, lavora con swell da N/E, E, S/E e S. Onde glassy spesso con vento cross shore. Qualità dell'acqua buona.
  Rivermouth of Condojanni river. Sand and rock bottom. Works with N/E, E, S/E and S. Wind often sideshore. Good water quality.

• AFRICO (RC) - AFRICO
  Fondale misto di sabbia e rocce frange con mareggiate da E, S/E e S. Buono quando il mare è grosso. Coperto da un promontorio dal vento che non rovina le onde. Qualità dell'acqua ottima.
  Sand and rock bottom waves, sheltered from wind. Good water quality.

• BRANCALEONE (RC) - BRANCALEONE
  Offre parecchi spot, il fondale é per la maggior parte di roccia funziona bene anche con swell da N/E oltre che con i soliti E, S/E, S, S/W. Lo spot più frequentato é Caldara. Attenzione ai ricci, onda esclusivamente destra.
  Big surf potentials for this almost unexplored coast. Works with, E, S/E, S, S/O and N/E. The wave is a righthander on rocks but look around and find out yourself.

• CAPO SPARTIVENTO (RC) - SPARTIVENTO
  Sulla statale 106 a sud di Brancaleone Marina.
  E' lo spot di ripiego per tutte le mareggiate, fondale di roccia. Perfetto con swell da S/E. Sul point, onde sinistre lunghissime che tendono a tubare. Possono raggiungere e superare i 3 m. Qualità dell'acqua buona.
  Along route 106 south of Brancaleone Marina. Works with every swell. Top quality left reef with S/E swells. Very long and tubey wave. Can reach 3m. Good water quality.

• PALIZZI MARINA (RC) - PALIZZI
  E' il point con l'onda più lunga di quest'area. Le migliori condizioni sono con swell da E, S/E e S. Il fondale é formato da pietre e detriti molto taglienti. Onda esclusivamente destra. Qualità dell'acqua ottima.
  Longest righthander point in the area. Excellent with S/E, E and S.
