| A friend of mine bought some land and there where several cars in the fields edge.� The friend knew I liked cars and ask me if I would be interested in a Chevelle.� I took looked at it February of 2001 on a very cold and snowy eve.� I told him I would be back to pull it out in the spring.� Well we just got the time to get the car on last week of August.� It was someone's attempt to make a race car.� The hood scoop was pop riveted, but� someone did spend some time on welding a full role cage in the car.� The car had no engine or transmission.� Now my brother owns it and he is in the process of dismantling it.� We are going to restore my brothers 1969 Chevelle SS 396 and some of the sheet metal will come in handy.� Not a bad find!! |
