MEETING MINUTES
1.  Competition Dates - Dates were discussed and chosen at the meeting, see the link Competition Dates for more information.

Anyone who has not chosen a date yet should do so.  You should  look at the school message board to check when school competitions are before you book yours.  Also remember March break, Februay break etc.  There are also  competitions in N.B. March 5th is a good day to have one if anyone wants it.  Please check with Jill sh ould you decide to take this date to insure that it is still available.

Please respect each hosting team by confirming whether your team(s) will be attending their competition or not. There has been a $100 maximum charge for competition fees per team BUT if you are past the deadline, the hosting team is allowed to tack on a late fee in addition to the $100.

2. The new scoresheets will be from the universal spirit association.  Their website is www.universalspiritassociation.com  we will also be using their judging guidelines and deduction sheet which will be given to the two safety judges.  ( We will have 3 panel judges and two safety judges at each competition) . Please refer to our Competition Rules link for any further information.

3.The NSCCA provincial banner will be given to the first place teams this year as well as medals for each cheerleader on the winning team rather than a trophy.  Trophies will be goven to the rest of the placing teams.

4. At competitions the judges' seating arrangement will be as follows :
For 2 Panel JUDGING
Judge P1 | Judge P2 | Judge P1 | Judge P2 | Judge P1 | Judge P2 | Tally/Tally/Time Keeper
In this arrangement each judge will have their own separate space  This is to ensure accuracy in calculations and prevent any discrepancy between judges and spectators/coaches/cheerleaders. The deductions from the safety sheet will come off of the FINAL score. This is the way the judging panel is to be set up at of the 2005/06 season. Please follow the new arrangements!

5. As you will see on the scoresheets they are out of 110 rather than 100.  We will be combining the pyramid and basket toss section into one so that our sheets will be out of 100.  Tumbling scores will be based on full team tumbling rather than the 50 % we have done in the past.

If you have any concerns or questions about anything please do not hesitate to contact a member of the executive.
