I'll probably be updating this quite often   here goes i bought the car when i was 19 i'm now 35 i drove it for 4 summers and it's been parked ever since. it was a "bondo buggy"  the tailight panel has a 1/2" of bondo on it the lower rear quarters have been skinned over with it but the rest of the body was pure steel.  as you can see it's got some decay going on but....... here's a partial list of the parts that i've collected while it's been sitting.
fenders 5   drivers doors 3    pass. doors 2    hoods4   trunklids 2    i cut rear quarter panels off a  4 door that was going to the crusher    for the wheelwells  i have the forward quarter panel section which is so badly damaged on the pass  side (right behind the door)  the rocker panel on the passenger side  is gonna be my own fabrication job. i've got 2 extra front subframes  the rear frame rails on this nova are in perfect condition. the front subframe is fine too  i've got subframe connectors for it. and a new welder for all the work.. as far as drivetrains i have several options   '65 327   91 goodwrench 350   '78 305    '68 455  or if i want to keep it original several  250  6 cyl's  i'm a pack rat when it comes to nova and other g.m. parts   plus all the parts and drivetrains i've collected were either out of my daily drivers at that time or i swapped something i had for them.like the 68 455 rocket  i swapped a good 250 6 cyl. with the integrated head  for the 455 with a good 400 tranny attached to it. granted it needs a rebuild  (it was running on 7 cylinders) but i had about 12  6 cyl's at the time so i did'nt care.  anyway...... that's why this a project that i'm not in a big hurry to complete.  i want to do it right and i want to do it so that my kids can drive it someday.........that's it for now  i'm sure i'll be adding more soon enough
Okay, soon enough. shops 3/4 done and should have the jimmy for my wife within a week and a half  ruh roh
started selling parts off other cars to help fund remaining nova parts needed. so far a door latch (nova) a windshield and grill (chevelle) and seeing what else i can sell to others trying to bring their chevy's back to life.
if nothing else, at least now i've got heat in the shop.just bought a salamander heater yesterday. not what i want forever but great for now. at least i won't freeze on the days that i'm out there for hours.
here'a link to my friend bill's web page it's a little info on his '66 cutlass  he's selling it but i'm not supposed to tell you where from this page   maybe e-mail though
