Pocaccho means chubby, which he certainly is!
His birthday is on February 29, and his debuting was in 1989. This cute
dog was born in Uguisu Yokocho (Nightingale Lane). He lives in New York,
where he's known as the best soccer and basketball player on his street, and
when it's game time, all his friends want to be on his team! He also loves
skateboarding.
When he's feeling a little more quiet, he loves to put on his headphones and
listen to his favorite songs on his portable CD player. He loves to
take walks, specially walking on his hind legs, but sometimes he trips on his
own feet, and when it happens, his best friend Choppi the mouse is always there
to help him out!
Curious, but a little scatter-brained, Pochacco loves adventures and to make new
friends. He can make friends with anyone he meets on the road, and that's
why he has a lot of pals! In the spring, he loves to wear Renge-so (chinese
milk vetch), and in the summer he dreams about eating banana ice-cream until his
tummy is full (hmmm!). Some people say that he was born in Brazil, but
that's not true and Sanrio negates this too.
