Small turnout but nontheless, real nice meet.  We had in total, 5 XRs and one Scorpio show up.  This was the annual national show for the Mustang Club of America with over 350 Mustangs in attandance.  We parked across the street from the Hyatt and after jawing the fat over Greg Larsen's White 87XR and Richard Curtis' 89XR with new Planakis 3"DP and high flow cat, spent about two hours roaming through the cars.  We then headed back to "Merkur Row" and spent time under the hoods of both Jeff Webb and Dave Lockharts' XRs.  Ed Liejewski arrived in his immaculate Scorpio but had to leave early.

The show field was actually the parking lot for the Fair Lakes Hyatt Hotel which while congested had plenty of shade and made for an easy walk to see all the cars, which were arranged by year groups.  Lots of early 65s, Mid-80s, some SVOs and many of the current edition Mustangs.  We had one SVO owner asking us for help with a drivability issue (fuel injectors) and referred him to Dave Compton, who the owner said he was very familiar with.  It was funny that he said he'd heard about the great showing Merkurs made at Carlisle this year!

All in all a very nice meet.
L and Center: Very nice SVO with the early upper Intake manifold; R: very nice original CHiPs Mustang
