Some days ago I
saw a new cartoon in the Cartoon Network called “The Sheep in the Big City”
because this is the year of Sheep in Chinese New Year. The Sheep is always
being chased and caught and treated violently or exploited. This poor “the
Sheep” took a very passive role through the story and he don’t have anything to
say in his role. One of the episodes is called “To Bleat, or not to Bleat”. Obviously
it’s a parody of Shakespeare’s famous word “To be, or not to be”. Here it takes
the two meanings of the word, but they both sounds. This is a very funny title,
and it really means.
I choose to ‘bleat’
sometimes, for grumbling or for relaxing, making fun. It’s just kind of expressing
something overloads within, for my mental health.
To me, I really
need that peace to fill myself in order not to bleat. That’s a struggle between
the thing that disturbs me and myself. Some people like to be soaked in the
feeling of dilemma. I’m not always like it, but sometimes do. Somehow this
process must be stopped. But to me, I really need help.
