| Whispering Unto You | ||||||
| If my thoughts were whispers And I passed them on to you, Would they rest in your ear, Make it to your head Then disappear? Would they fail to reach you, As they were too soft Against the shouting in your ear? If you caught them And knew what it was I said, Would your comfort be like a hug, Lending me a spot of care, Or would you whisper back, With the bleak chance That I would be able to hear? From now on, I hope my thoughts become more clear So I may understand them, And, So you can hear what I want to say. |
