Friend's Writings |
|
|
|
This first piece of poetry was sent to me by one of my bestest buddies Jesse. He's always been a great friend and has always encouraged me with my writing and been willing listen when I needed someone to talk to. When he sent me this poem I was really happy and didn't hesitate to post it on my site. So here it is, hope you enjoy it as much as I did. |

Darkened eyes all around me Knowing, watching, hate They see something, deep inside me I don't know of late
I don't know how I can change The world around me When I'm so useless, out of range Somebody fooled me
There is something there I'm sure What's the point of this Something will change, will occur I'll always be useless

Last Night In Vegas
The man said 'put it down' You know this man been down Dropping change, barely make a sound Forget the gun, 'I'm leaving town'
Girls with candy panties And dogs with steel teeth Dance in rings of fire And poke him from beneath
'I'll find my teeth and hat' he says 'There's not much hope for this' 'And as I stumble forth' he says 'It's my last night in Vegas'
Lightning cash and horn head Got tickets for the show Love straight from a razor blade And a fifty-eight hour low
Rooms got bloody walls Or could just be his eyes Doors locked, stomachs up In the bathtub someone lies
'I'll find my teeth and hat' he says 'There's not much hope for this' 'And as I stumble forth' he says 'It's my last night in Vegas'
