INDEX OF LINKS TO MY POW/MIA ADOPTEES

Honoring those serving in the U. S. Navy from the state of Texas.

official website of the U.S. Navy

In honor of my father:

PAUL ALFORD WEST, SR.

who served in the United States Navy
during World War II
more Navy pictures of Daddy
Go here to see a few more pictures of Dad while he was in the Navy.

I dedicate these pages to you Daddy
and my efforts to commemorate and remember
those who served, but HAVE NOT RETURNED!
Our missing in action(MIA),
our prisoners of war(POW),
our killed in action(KIA).

WE MUST NOT FORGET!!!

Each one of these links below is a POW/MIA that I have "adopted". After you read about them... Please... take a moment to write to our elected officials and let them know how you feel about the fact that American Servicemembers have STILL NOT been returned to American soil and/or accounted for. I am providing links for you, so that you may do that, WHILE you are here. At the bottom of this and EACH remembrance page you will be able to click and comment to those in Washington, DC, who have the power to bring them home. The men and women of our armed forces, who have fought and given their lives for American soil and American freedom... they deserve to come home.

IN HONOR of my father:
All of my adopted "HEROES" served in the U.S.Navy.
All of my adopted "HEROES" are from our home state... Texas.

There are many, many others...

Hear the Navy Hymn "Eternal Father"
as sung by the U.S. Navy Band's Sea Chanters.
Contains an excellent "history" of this beloved hymn,
as well as the lyrics to the verses,
including verses added later for other branches.
WORTH hearing!!!
