Dear Everyone. . .

Well, I finished. I'm sitting here at about 3AM on labor day morning. . . and I've finished. Twenty chapters, a prologue, an epilogue. . . all in all, it's 112 pages. That isn't to say that I won't come back later and edit a bit, or that I'm completely comfortable with the story the way it is right now (there were some parts, especially the ending, that were very hard to write, and I think I might have to work on a little more later.) Still, there were upcoming parts of the story that I really wanted to get to, and "Falling" was getting hard to develop any further. It was time to move on. I met my final deadline. Back in May. . . or was it early June? When I first started posting, I was trying to finish Falling by the fourth of July. Then, I wanted to be finished by August. Finally, I realized, what with my travels back and forth, occasional bouts of writer's block and the nightmarish week in late June when my disk died. . . with all of the chapters of the story, including the one that was currently in development at the time, I think Chapter 10 or 11. I could have axed my C drive. . . but I didn't.

Anyway, I want to thank all of you. . . those who were with me in the beginning, and those who came along later. (Because I couldn't write a story. . . and I couldn't post it on the Internet. . . and I couldn't live a minute without you. :-) *Juliette's Note: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!*

*Sarahs Note: Juliette, you knew I was being sarcastic, right? You know I dont actually say things like that. . . (although we all know who actually does.)*

I want to thank Juliette, my hostess with the mostest, for changing mistakes for me and offering to post my story as soon as I told her what it was about. I want to thank Allison for all of her advice, for pointing out discrepancies she noticed, for being so entertaining to talk to, and for not thinking I'm crazy for sending her such long and rambling letters. (Her letters are always a joy!)

Thanks to all of you for putting up with me, with all of my absences and with the weeks that elapse between chapters. I just realized that I never wrote back to Felicity, and I want to apologize!

Thank you Cec, and Krystal and Laura and Kate and Becca and Jordan (and your mom!) and Ellie (who I haven't written back to in a long time either. . . sorry!) and Alison (with one 'l') and Tianna (the Kalliope) and Sam! I've loved reading your comments and meeting all of you. You keep me going and encourage me so much! (I'm getting all warm and mushy.) I will treasure you always. . .

I know everybody will be busy with school and stuff (so will I) and might not have enough time for hanfic. That's okay! This next upcoming installment of the story (not a sequel as much as a continuation) will hopefully hold your interest, and if it doesn't, you can stop me at any time. I have had one girl who, instead of telling me she wanted off the updates list simply blocked me from sending her mail, but all it takes is four simple words, "Sarah I want out!" for me to stop sending you chapters. It won't hurt my feelings at all. In fact, it probably hurt my feelings more to be blocked, without the girl telling me exactly why. (Sigh) I don't think I did anything to make her mad.

Anyway, you guys are the ones who keep me writing this story. Thanks if you nominated me for an Unsung Author's Award, and thanks if you voted for me. Thanks for sticking with the story for as long as it took to write it.

Well, I guess it's time to go. Look for the next installment soon. . . I think you guys might like it. . . and have a great year in school. Thanks again!

:-) Sarah

P.S. I may do some severe editing on these past two chapters. . . and the Isaac and Charlie in the bathroom thing is based on a story my little brother told me. (I don't have that kind of mind....)
