Not satisfied, Ahlred left the City and the Castle he called home for the unexplored fronteer of Pengland. Two years of training in the unknown honed his skills and by the age of twenty had become one of the most feared Assassins in the realm.

George grew up in the Country, living a calm life of peace and happiness. His world collapsed at the age of sixteen when a band of Moloch's Elves attacked his Farm, dragging most of the occupants off for sacrafice to their demon-god. Knowing he was too weak to defeat the invaders, the Shepherd hid and until the Elves had left before coming out and helping those he could. Scarred by this, the sixteen-year old left the remains of his Farm and began to seek revenge against the Elves.

For reasons unknown, a tear in reality allowed the beings of another world to enter the world of Pengland. In the place known as the Plane of Shadows, Hades was quick to summon his generals to the Fortess of Abbadon to prepare for war. He entrusted the lord of his Dark Minions with the task of leadins Hell's armies into the world. To be sure Lord Ja'Thrensh succeeded in conquest, Hades bestowed upon him a suit of magical armor. Ja'Thrensh quickly took up his position and led his Dark Minions out into Pengland to begin the war.

In the northern area of Pengland run the Mountains that Ruby calls home. She spent her life in the Mining Town doing what all the other Dwarfs did, mining. This constant physical labor has given her a level of power few creatures can match. As always happens when you put too much time into working and not enough into reading, Ruby has not developed enough of a sence of magic to be much good at it. She has never been bothered my this, so long as her spear stays sharp.
Uhrgh the Troll

Trolls are a rare species made almost entirely out of stone. Although extremely slow and stupid, they are tremendous fighters and can regenerate wounds without aid. Uhrgh found his talents to be quite useful in his life. Living in a Cave that opens out to a cavern that was carved out by a river centuries ago, Uhrgh was at odds with the local Dwarfs who mined the area. His Cave ran under their Mining Town and the Dwarfs had dug into it. Since then, there he has had little peace in the fight for control of the land.
Nightbreeze the Maple Ranger

In their forest in southern Pengland, the Amazons lived divided into four tribes. The Maple, the Elm, the Oak, and the Ash. These four mostly female societies resided in their Treetop Villages where they lived in peace with each other and cared for the forest around them. The Amazon's way of life came to an end when the Dark Minions of the Shadow Plane were able to invade Pengland. The Minions quickly pushed their way towards the forest, forcing the Amazon's to react. As one of the best of the Maple's Rangers, Nightbreeze was given the task of assassinating Lord Ja'Thrensh in the hopes that the loss of their leader would turn the Dark Minions back.

Just south of the Mountains in northern Pengland stretch the Desert. Extreme temperature and lack of water make the land almost uninhabitable. One of the few creatures that can survive in the area are the giant Wyrms. Living underground during the hot days and coming out at night to feed and drink, the Wyrms are very rarely seen. Occationally though, one of the solitary creatures will leave the desert and wreck havoc in the outside world.
Priest Ki Wren Fa, Elf of Moloch

Angered over having the Dark Minion Lord Ja'Thrensh appointed as leader of the Dark's armies, Moloch broke off his loyalties to Hades and led his Elves out of the Shadow Planes. The Elves settled in the Damned Valley and set up their community there. Moloch appointed himself their Dark God and began having his Elves collect prisoners to sacrafice to him. Leading the collection squads is one of Moloch's priests, Ki Wren Fa. Using the powers granted to her by Moloch, she crushes town after town, ordering her followers to drag every captives to sacraficial alters.

The Humans of the Plains try to live the most peaceful life they can, but have found it impossible in a world suddenly thrust into war. Feeling the need to take matters into his own hands, John left the Village of Cann on his twenty-second birthday to find a way to bring peace to the world once again. Knowing the trials ahead would be great, John studied the ways of both the warrior and the healer. He hopes that with his new skills, he will be able to find an answer to the world's problems somewhere in the unexplored lands of Pengland.
