High School (Final Version)
High School? What do you think about when you hear it? Fun, Exciting, Hard Work, Love, tons of Homework and Essays and Projects? Well, middle school may have seemed hard at the time but now it seems like a breeze. 7th Grade we may have gotten off to a rocky start coming to a new school but all of us have grown since then. We understand friendships, guys, boyfriends, and anything else that will try to break us but in the end all of us will become strong and more mature people. Soon we will graduate in the year 2008 and enjoy having the new freshmen go through the same pain which we did homecoming, freshman senior, parties, and anything else that high school gives us. Most people say that the four years of high school were the best years of their life. But we all have to go through struggles in order for all of us to reach our successes. We all become close in 8th grade but we all have come to know each other well. So we may be new to the high school environment but our friends, guys or girls, all know eachother pretty well by now whether or not we went to elementary school together, nothing will come between all the fun times which we will share in our wonderful, and joyous, high school careers.

High School (original version):
High school? What you think about when you hear iy? Fun, exciting, love, hardwork, and lots of tiredness. Middle school may seem hard by 7th grade but by eighth grade we got it down pat. Soon we would have to change from our younger stage and come to be young adults being prepared for the real world. Soon we would be facing many changes and emotions which can come up and hit us from behind without knowing. Older kids may boss us around but know we can practically beat all of them. Mostly high school is full of memories and lovers and times we wish we could never leave. So the school may not have SmartBoards in every room but we have school which is really old but we had it in 7th grade so it is not that bad.
The only difference is that we each have different lunches and bearly even see each other anymore so we're not as tight as last year. Last year we had the same lunch everyday and our friends were always there. Another difference from 8th gradeis that we never see each other in classes because we barely see eachother. We all develope different love interests this year and we may even get boyfriends who may or may not collide with our group. Some of us may even get our first kiss because our boyfriend or crush may like us back and we may get kissed. There are proms, freshman senior day (2008 and 2004), homecoming, and may other dances to stay social with the upper classman and our own perrs. Tons of cheeses (pictures), hairdo's, and bobbypins may also happen 8th high school because we grow-up so fast and our moms in particular still want us to be their little baby girls who went to Elementry School.
So as you can see high school is a time to grow, laugh, love and learn and oh yeah Dance our hearts out. These are all things to help us get ready for the real world which we may have to face quicker than a blink of the eye.

Midnight
The moon peered through the clouds, trying to be seen. Eventually, the clouds broke away and floated west. The moon shown brightly, as a tall young woman stepped into the light. Kendra has long bluish, blackish hair, which are very dark and green eyes that can be seen from a mile away. She didn't like to dress in bright colours. Kendra preferred darker reds, blues, greens, purples, and blacks. She always wore her long black cloak, which her mother gave her but a week before she died. She has worn that cloak everyday since her seventeenth birthday. It was a little worn out, but otherwise in good condition. This piece of clothing was all she had left of her mother...and her childhood. She would protect it with her life.
Kendra walked down the dark cobblestone street, until it opened up and there were lights every few feet. She walked a little while longer until she reached a club, which she then entered. There were people everywhere, and only a few looked up at her when she appeared in the doorway. There were people sitting at the bar and people on the dance floor. Kendra decided to go sit at the bar and get a drink. As she found a seat and sat down, a man appeared next to her. He started talking but after the first sentence, Kendra put a finger to his lips to hush him. In his ear, she whispered "meet me at the bathrooms in five minutes." Of course, he did not object and followed her. They went into an abandoned hallway, where no one could see into unless they took the liberty of walking down. Kendra started kissing this man, which she did not even know the name. He had had a few drinks and was not entirely aware of everything that was happening around him. Kendra started kissing him on the lips, but quickly moved down to his neck. Suddenly, the man felt a sharp pain and collapsed in her arms. With blood dripping down her chin, Kendra quickly found a place to hide the body. She wiped her chin, and ran to the door. As she opened it, there were loud screams and she knew they had found the body. So, she ran down the street as fast as she could.
She slowed to a stop when she reached an old historic Victorian style house, with a large yard filled with trees and moss covered stones. Kendra walked up to the doorway and entered. She appeared in a large kitchen, which had a sizable table and a long counter top, which was across from a large sliver refrigerator. From there, Kendra entered the next room, which was filled with a long black couch, accompanied by two black chairs. Sitting on the couch was her sister, Elizabeth, who looked up and mumbled hello. Kendra did the same as she hurried up the stairs. She stopped at the third door on the left and opened it. It was a huge room, with a king sized water bed, which had a dark red blanket covering the top of it. The two windows were covered with black curtains that fell to the floor. Both of these windows opened and led to a balcony. Kendra walked past all this and opened a small door near the corner of the room, which led into a bathroom. She gazed into the large mirror, but only saw the wall behind her. She quickly washed her face and stepped back into her bedroom. She opened the door, once again, but ran into Daniel. He was standing outside her door, trying to convince himself to knock. He had just raised his hand when Kendra walked into him. They both blushed and looked away quickly. Under her breath, Kendra muttered an "I'm sorry" and started to walk away. However, Daniel had noticed a drop of blood on her throat and asked her where she had been. She explained to him that she was hungry and went into town to get a drink. He had a worried look upon his face that Kendra instantly noticed. She lifted his chin slightly and assured him that no one had seen her and that they hadn't found the body until she was gone. Daniel's expression lightened a little. And the both smiled.
Daniel had decided to ask Kendra if she wanted to go swimming with him, since he knew that she loved the water. Her smile widened and she nodded her head yes. So, they both got changed and headed out back, towards the lake which their house sat along the shore of. Kendra jumped in, but Daniel just stood there for a moment looking into the water. He was deep in thought when Kendra crept along side him and grabbed his ankle. She pulled him in and playfully splashed water at him. He smiled and splashed her back. They were both laughing hysterically when Elizabeth and Matt came out back. They looked at each other, as if to say "they are so childish" and rolled their eyes. Elizabeth told them that she and Matt were going out, and would be back in a few hours. So, the two walked away and Kendra and Daniel continued laughing.
By the time Elizabeth and Matt returned, Kendra and Daniel were already out of the water and in the house. The sun was rising, so they all went straight to sleep.
Daniel was the first to awake. He decided to sneak into Kendra's room. She was sound asleep, so she did not wake when he entered. Daniel sat beside her bad, and simply watched her sleep. After about an hour, Daniel had heard a noise coming from down the hall, and he knew someone else was awake. So he hurried out of her room, leaving it precisely as it was before he entered. Daniel casually walked down the stairs and sat on the couch. About a minute and a half later, Matt walked down the stairs, half asleep. He joined Daniel on the couch, and they talked for about twenty minutes. They spoke of many topics, but right as Matt started talking about women, Kendra walked down the stairs. Matt hushed himself before she heard anything. And he got up and walked into the kitchen. Kendra sat down, next to Daniel. He had a worried look on his face, as he was trying to figure out if she knew he was watching her earlier. She glanced at him, and he quickly wiped the look off of his face before she saw.
For a split second, Kendra had a confused look upon her face, but decided to let it go. To change the subject, Daniel mentioned that he was feeling hungry and that he wanted to go into town to get a drink. Kendra offered to go with him, even though she wasn't very hungry. They both changed and headed towards town together. They walked in silence for most of the time, just thinking to themselves. Kendra knew that something was up with Daniel, but she was not quite sure what. She knew he was nervous when she had come downstairs, but she did not know why. So, the whole time they had been walking, she tried to come up with reasons why. But she didn't get very far. In the meantime, Daniel could tell she suspected something of him, but he was not entirely sure. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched Kendra and simply admired her beauty and grace. He had liked her since the first time her saw her, but was always too shy to say anything. So they walked on, with an awkward silence hanging above them.
Finally, they reached the same club that Kendra had just been to. They both entered and went to the dance floor. They separated for a few minutes, to find people to dance with. Daniel started dancing with a girl that appeared drunk, or at least partially drunk. He managed to get her into the same hallway that Kendra was in the night before. He started kissing her on the lips and quickly moved to her neck. He had bitten her the same way that Kendra had. Meanwhile, Kendra left the dance floor right before Daniel did, so he hadn't seen her. She was headed for the restroom. Daniel hid the body in the corner right as Kendra was leaving the bathroom. The two were leaving the hallway right as someone was walking down it. So, they both rushed out, but it was too late. That person had found the body and called the police. They arrived in no time. The person explained to them what had happened. The three officers started questioning Kendra and Daniel. And they became very suspicious of Daniel. Kendra had noticed this instantly. So, when they had asked her if she knew who had killed this person, she suddenly started crying and said that she did it. So, they let Daniel go and took Kendra to the station. Since she had confessed, she did not need a full trial. But only to see what would happen to her.
They finally allowed Daniel to come visit Kendra after a few days. He was trying to speak in a code, so they did not understand what he meant. All Daniel had said was "why" and all Kendra could say was "I don't know" and she truly didn't know why she had lied. But that did not sit to well with Daniel. He was not going to sit by and watch her life crumble for something that she didn't even do. But a guard came in and told him that he had to leave. So, they said goodbye and they parted.
When Daniel got home, he went straight up to his room and completely ignored Elizabeth and Matt. He went into his closet and dug everything out, until he came upon a large box. He threw everything back in and closed the door. And he locked his bedroom door. Daniel opened the box. It was filled with money! He pulled out a great chunk and started to count it. He stopped when he reached five billion. He closed the box and put it under his bed for now. Daniel packed up the money and went down to the jail where Kendra was. He made a deal, where he paid a bale of three billion dollars. So, Daniel ran to Kendra's cell and told her that she was free. He didn't tell her about the money, though, or how much he had paid.
They both walked in the door and Elizabeth and Matt were both gone. There was a note, but all it said was "we've gone out and we'll be back later." So, Kendra and Daniel had gone to bed, since they were both very tired. Kendra had awoken the next night. Matt and Daniel were both still asleep. So, Kendra walked downstairs. On her way, she heard strange sounds coming from Elizabeth's room. Since the door was partially open already, she decided to enter. Elizabeth was in her bathroom, on the floor. It appeared that she had been throwing up for quite some time. Kendra quietly knocked on the open bathroom door and Elizabeth looked up. She told Kendra that she had been throwing up for a few hours and she felt terrible. Kendra had a weird feeling looming above her. So, she ran into her own bathroom and grabbed a box from inside the cabinet. She ran back to Elizabeth and handed her the box. She looked up at Kendra with a weird look on her face. Then she looked back down at the box. It was a pregnancy test box. So, Kendra went into Elizabeth's bedroom and closed both the bathroom door and the bedroom door. Elizabeth took the test, and then they waited for the results. Finally, when the time was up, they looked at it. It was positive! Elizabeth was pregnant.
About an hour and a half later, Daniel woke up. He heard them talking in Elizabeth's room. So, he knocked on the door and came in. They told him the good news and he hugged Elizabeth happily and congratulated her. He asked if Matt knew and they told him that they only found out this morning. So, Daniel sat with them, and they all talked. Shortly after, Matt awoke and came in Elizabeth's room. And they told him, too.
Matt was a little shocked at first, but he was really happy. So, they all hugged and congratulated each other on becoming mothers, fathers, aunts, and uncles.
A month later, Matt and Elizabeth were engaged. Elizabeth wanted the wedding to be soon, because she was already starting to show and she didn't want to be huge on her wedding day. So, Kendra and Elizabeth started planning for the wedding immediately. The following week, Kendra and Elizabeth were trying on dresses, when Elizabeth got into a fight with another woman. They started hitting each other and before you knew it, the girl had punched Elizabeth in the stomach, not really realizing that she was pregnant. She fell to the floor, screaming in pain. Kendra ran to the front desk and called an ambulance. They arrived and five minutes later. The paramedics said that Elizabeth had lost the baby.
They went home and continued planning for the wedding, which was to be held in two months. All four did the planning together. Kendra was going to be the maid of honor and Daniel was the best man. They rented tuxedoes and picked out the wedding gown, which was a long white gown that had a beautiful veil. The bride's maids' dress was a long, lavender dress that was made of silk. They picked out the cake and the reception hall. The wedding was taking place at the local church. The invitations were sent out to all their friends and family, although Elizabeth's and Kendra's parents had past away several years ago. Elizabeth had asked Daniel if he would walk her down the isle. He was shocked when she had asked him, but of course, he said yes. By the time the wedding had come, Elizabeth looked like her regular self again and she lost all the extra wait that she had from the pregnancy.
For a wedding present, Daniel and Kendra had gotten them a two week vacation to New Zealand because they had both always wanted to go there. By the time Matt and Elizabeth got back, she was pregnant again. Kendra and Elizabeth went to the doctors to have an ultrasound. Matt told them that it was up to them whether they found out what the sex of the baby was or not. They decided that they wanted to know. And the doctor told them that it was twins, a boy and a girl. When they got home, they told Matt and Daniel the news.
Five months later, Elizabeth was really starting to show. She looked as if she was eight months pregnant with one baby. Kendra and Daniel all cleared out the back room and turned it into a bedroom for the babies. They painted it and cleaned it out, although, they did this without Matt and Elizabeth knowing. It was originally Kendra's to begin with. She used it for storage only, so nobody ever went in there. They bought two cribs and a changing table, as well as other things to fill the room. At the baby shower, two months later, Kendra and Daniel put a large ribbon on the door and dragged everyone upstairs after all the other gifts were opened. They opened the door, and yelled "surprise." Elizabeth almost fainted because she was so excited and grateful. They were so happy.
Since Elizabeth was pregnant and no longer capable of getting her own food, Matt, Daniel, and Kendra went out to get it for her.
One night, Kendra and Daniel were walking towards town. They had been talking about everything. And suddenly, Daniel asked her why she took the blame for him, that night when they were caught in the club. Kendra was caught completely off guard, since that was more than a year ago. She just stared at the ground as they walked, and gave him no answer. He looked at her, as if expecting her to say a specific thing. Still, she didn't answer. Finally, he asked her again, and she mumbled "I don't know.I suppose I just didn't want you to get into trouble." Daniel looked almost disappointed. But he quickly changed the subject. So, they arrived at an inn. They went through the same routine as always. And they dashed back into the woods before anyone had a chance to find the bodies.
They did not speak of the past year's incident anymore. Kendra realized that she had taken the blame because she was in love with Daniel, but was far to shy to say even a word.
Two months later, the twins were born and they were named Isabella and Damien. They lived in the room that Kendra and Daniel had created. As they grew, they looked more and more like each other, even though they were not identical twins. By this time, they were thirteen months old. They were born on the twenty-fifth of February, 1897.
Since Matt and Elizabeth were busy taking care of the twins, Kendra and Daniel offered to go out and get them all food. So, they waited for the moon to rise far above the horizon and then they left. Kendra and Daniel went into an inn and headed straight for the bar. Daniel had led a young girl upstairs and Kendra had led an older man into a side room. They went through the same routine as always, except this time, they didn't drink the blood.they drained as much as possible to bring back home. They hid the bodies under beds and casually walked out the door.
When they returned home, Matt was sitting on a bench outside the door waiting for them. He told him that Elizabeth was in the hospital. So, they all ran back into town. Matt said that Isabella and Damien were at his mother's house, so they didn't have to worry about them. He explained "She went into the twin's room to check on them, and she must have passed out and hit her head when she fell or she may have just fallen and hit her head, I am not sure which. The noise woke Isabella up and she started crying. So, I went in there to check on them and when I saw her lying there, lifelessly, I panicked. I brought the twins to my mother's house and then went straight to the hospital. Elizabeth got a concussion when she hit her head. She has not yet woken up. "
Four days later, Matt was at the hospital, sitting by Elizabeth's side, when she awoke. Matt was so happy when he saw her eyes open. Elizabeth had asked what happened and Matt told her the entire story again. She had a look of shock on her face, but then started to remember everything. She explained to him "I remember walking into their room and suddenly becoming really dizzy and light headed. So I stopped walking and stood still until that feeling went away. And so I starting walking forward again and suddenly, my vision was really blurred and I slipped on something and fell backwards and hit my head on the wall."
Matt called the doctor in to tell him that Elizabeth was awake. He then called Kendra and Daniel to tell them and they arrived in a flash. They all sat by Elizabeth's side, as if expecting her to suddenly pass out again. They talked for hours, and just before the sun had risen, they left Elizabeth to sleep.
Matt got the twins and brought them to visit Elizabeth right away, the next night. They seemed really happy that they got to see a familiar face, once again.
Elizabeth came home two days later and everything went back to normal. The twins had started walking.slowly, of course, but walking nonetheless. Matt and Elizabeth were so thankful for Isabella and Damien.
One day they were walking around, when suddenly, Isabella walked over to Damien and pushed him over. He started to fall down the stairs, but luckily, Daniel caught him after he fell down only three steps. That night after they had woken up, Isabella went over to Damien and pushed him down again. He started crying and Elizabeth and Matt ran over to them. That night, they realized that Isabella had become a bully. And, although Damien could fight back, he never did. He was far too sweet and innocent to hit Isabella back.
Two days later, Kendra and Daniel had gone out to feed. They had just arrived in the town when someone said from behind them "Kendra, is that really you?" She whipped around to see who it was. Her mouth dropped open slightly when she realized it was her old boyfriend, Richard. Daniel was surprised and confused at the same time. Richard started talking, but Daniel could tell that Kendra wasn't really listening and she did not want to be there. Daniel elbowed Kendra in the arm softly. She nodded her head and told Richard that they must be going. He grabbed her arm tightly and said that he wanted to see her again. She struggled to free her arm, but failed. So Daniel stepped in and told him to let her go, but he refused. So, Daniel punched him in the face. Richard shoved Kendra aside and went to hit Daniel. He ducked just in time and was not hit. Richard turned around and started to walk away with a bloody lip. But suddenly, he spun around and nailed Daniel in the nose. So, he went to hit Richard back, but he ducked and Daniel punched the pole behind him. His fingers were broken. Nonetheless, he was still determined to fight. He punched Richard in the eye, which quickly started to bruise. Kendra was pulling at Daniel and telling him to stop, but he refused to give up. Punching with his right hand, which was difficult for him because he was left handed, he managed to break Richard's nose. Richard hit Daniel's lip, which was now swelling and bleeding. By now there were people all around, trying to break up this fight. The police had arrived. Right as they started to break it up, Daniel turned and ran towards Richard. Daniel gave one final punch and hit Richard in his already broken nose. He let out a huge cry of pain as the police restrained Daniel and Richard.
As Daniel and Kendra were walking back home, Daniel saw they look of terror in her eyes. And he asked if it was because he was fighting. She said it had nothing to do with him. And she went on to explain about when she and Richard were together. She said that they were together for a long time and actually got engaged. But shortly after that, he started to change. He became cruel and abusive. He had started to hit her whenever he didn't get her way. Kendra tried to leave him, but he wouldn't let her go. So, one night, while he was asleep, she ran away. Daniel had the same look of horror and terror on his face that Kendra had.
They got back to the house a little while later. There was a note saying that the twins were at their grandmother's house and that they had gone out for the night. There was also I note left by the front door from Richard. It read "Kendra, I must see you again. Please meet me at the inn tomorrow night at ten o'clock p.m. Daniel grabbed the note before Kendra could see it. He decided that he wanted revenge on Richard for what he put Kendra through. So, he decided that he would go there in her place.
The next night, before Kendra had woken, Daniel set off for the town. He paid a girl to help him.although she did not know what his plan was. He told this girl to bring Richard into the back hallway and he would handle it from there. She agreed to help him. He waited quietly, in the shadows of the hallway. Then, he saw them, making their way to the back. The girl got him in the dark corner and walked away. Richard stood there in confusion for a moment. From the dark corner, Daniel said "So, we meet again. I know what you have done, and I am not happy with it." Richard looked around franticly, trying to see the person who spoke. Daniel emerged from his corner and covered Richard's mouth. He could not escape, though he tried. Daniel dug his teeth deep into the vein in Richard's neck. Quickly, he stashed the body and ran out the door.
When he got home Kendra looked really upset. She found the note Richard had left and figured out that Daniel had gone instead of her. He told her what he did and how angry her story made him. She had an odd look on her face. Kendra did not know how to feel. She hated Richard for what he did and what he put her through. But she let it go. Kendra had a hard time letting people into her life, after she left Richard because of all that he put her through. That is why she never told Daniel how she felt about him because she feared that he too would change. And she didn't want that. She loved him the way he was. So, she kept quiet, hoping that he would do or say something.
So, for a while, things went on the way they were. The twins' sixth birthday was approaching and Kendra and Daniel were planning on showing them how to feed for themselves. Matt and Elizabeth agreed since they were both worn out. Isabella had become somewhat of a bully. And she was always pushing Damien around. He had always been too sweet and harmless to ever hit her back, so he just took it.
The day after their birthday, Kendra and Daniel took the twins to an inn. The sun had just set and it was barely dark outside. But they had to make it early because people would think it was odd that to six-year-olds were at an inn in the middle of the night. However, since it was in February, it got dark around six o'clock. So, nobody thought it odd that the twins were there. Kendra went up to a friendly looking man at the bar and kindly asked him to show her something in one of the rooms, which they had paid to stay in. As she did this, Daniel had the kids. And he told them to watch carefully and to be quiet. Kendra led the man into their room and Daniel, Isabella, and Damien followed. She started talking to him as Daniel closed the door behind them. The kids watched her silently. They seemed to understand the importance of their silence. When the door was closed, Kendra covered the man's mouth and dug her teeth into his neck. Daniel brought the twins over so they could get some too. After he was sucked dry, they hid the body under the bed for the maid to find. And they headed home, explaining to Isabella and Damien the minor details of feeding, like making sure no one sees you and being sure that no one finds the body before you are gone.
Another year went by and everything was basically the same. Elizabeth and Matt started feeding for themselves again as the kids got older. They fed as a family, most of the time. Damien never wanted to bite the people; he always just drank the blood when the others bid them. Although, Isabella seemed to really enjoy feeding. And she often drank too much and got sick.
One day, Matt was watching Isabella from the window as she played in the backyard. Damien was inside sleeping, so she was outside alone, as she often was. Matt noticed a kind looking young woman walking down the street, a little ways down from their house. Then he noticed Isabella climbing a tall tree. He didn't go outside quite yet because he wanted to see what Isabella was up to. So, she got about five and a half feet up when she stopped and sat. As the woman got closer, Isabella started yelling "help! Help! I can't get down!" The woman came to the backyard to see what the child was yelling about. When she saw Isabella up the tree, she knew she was too scared to jump down, for it was a long way down for a child. So, she reached up and took Isabella out of the tree. When she was safely on the ground, the woman bent down to talk to her. But Isabella covered her mouth and bit her in the neck. She slowly dragged the body to the border of the yard and buried it there. Matt ran to tell Elizabeth what he just saw. They were both shocked that a six-year-old fed on her own and her clever attack strategy that she used to get the woman to come to her.
They often caught Isabella trying to feed on people, even when she wasn't hungry. Damien never wanted to feed on his own. He hated the idea of killing innocent people. So, most often, they had Isabella bite the person and have Damien drink the blood. They never went out all at once, or it would become obvious. So, they had to go two at a time.
One night, when Elizabeth and Matt had gone out to feed and the kids were asleep, Kendra and Daniel went out back to the lake to swim. They had been outside for a while, when Kendra had gotten out of the lake and walked over to the sun dial. It was about five to midnight. So she walked back over to Daniel and started talking again. They were both sitting on the shore, talking. Right as the sun dial said midnight, they kissed. Both Kendra and Daniel were surprised by this. Daniel told Kendra how much he loved her, and that he always has loved her. And she said the same. Out of the heat of the moment, Daniel asked Kendra to marry him. She said yes and they kissed again. After a moment, Kendra noticed Isabella and Damien standing in the doorway to the house. Kendra got up and walked over to them, as Daniel followed. They told Isabella and Damien the good news. They decided to get married right away and to only have it be the six of them. They got married a month later. And only three months later, Kendra was pregnant. Daniel and Kendra had a baby girl nine months later, on the twenty-fifth of September. They named their new baby Rachel.
