Gundam Wing: A New Story Author's Note: This story takes place immediately after the Gundam Wing television series and ignores the Endless Waltz OAV. I personally don't care if anyone disagrees with this, as it is my perogative as an author. If, however, you like the story or have some constructive criticism, please let me know (Beholder@gundam.com). The year is After Colony 196. The newly reunified solar system celebrates as an intense period of conflict comes to a close, and with it, all apparent possibility of future wars. Peace will not come so easily, though, and for some, the war is just beginning... "...This footage, taken just hours ago by the Romefeller Foundation's flagship, shows Gundam pilot Heero Yuy destroying the stolen space station 'Libra' as it hurtles towards Earth. Had it hit, the space station would have wiped out nearly all human life on the planet...*click*" The boy switches off the reciever. As he walks through the darkened room towards a pile of circuit boards and transistors, the image on the monitor is etched in his mind. "So," he muses to himself, "The traitors have saved their precious Earth. What do they expect to do now? Retire? Forget about the events of the past?" At this point his voice cracks slightly, and he looks at a framed photograph on the wall. It shows a family, the mother and father standing behind their son and younger daughter. "No," he cries angrily, clenching his fists in rage, "I will make sure they never forget, just as I will never be able to forget what they did."
