(Scene: Everyone (Gundam Pilots, Amber, and Shannon and Nicole) are lying 
unconscious in a big open field under a tree. A little ways off is a giant, menacing, 
haunted-looking castle. Suddenly, everyone begins to stir. Duo is the first to 
wake.)
Duo: (rubbing his head) What in the world just happened?
Quatre: I'm not too sure. I remember us all arguing, and then there was this hand 
reaching through the window, and then we were here.
Amber: Same here, but I was pulled into me mirror.
Nicole: We were pulled into thin air.
Shannon: That was beyond frightening.
Wufei: Only weaklings would be frightened of such a petty thing.
Shannon: You know, Wufei, you're never going to make many friends with that 
attitude. And I bet you get scared too.
Wufei: Hah! I'm frightened of nothing. And I don't need friends.
Amber: (to Heero) can I just punch him? Please!?
Heero: Okay, he deserves it.
(Before Wufei can react, Amber has decked him across the nose. He is now sitting 
on the ground holding his bloody nose.)
Amber: That's for being a jerk to Shannon and for ruining my campaig, you limey 
little bugger.
Nicole: Wow, Amber. I never knew you could do so much damage.
Duo: Impressive.
Quatre: You know, guys, rather than fighting amongst ourselves, maybe we 
should try and find out where we are. Or at least we could find some shelter, it 
looks like its gonna rain.
(Just as Quatre finishes, the sky opens up and the group is instantly drenched. 
Their first reaction is to (of course) run to the castle. When they get there, Heero 
tries to knock on the door, but there is no answer.)
Nicole: Maybe there's a doorbell around here somewhere.
Shannon: Maybe no one's home?
Duo: Maybe we didn't knock loud enough?
Wufei: Maybe this place is haunted.
(Everyone turns and stares at him.)
Wufei: It all would make perfect sense. This place looks creepy enough, and no 
one ever answers the door in a haunted house.
From somewhere above them: Nice little detuction there. 
(Everyone looks up to see a rather dashing elven man. He is wearing a traveler's 
cloak and carrying a large sword. He is standing on top of the wall. When 
everyone sees him, he jumps down and lands in between them all.)
Elf: Hello everyone, my name is Wren, and I am the one who brought you here. 
(Everyone stares at him blankly) As your little friend here so artfully discovered, 
this is in fact, a haunted castle (lightning strikes followed by an extremely loud 
rumble of thunder. Everyone jumps).
Wren: Funny little creatures aren't you. Anyways, I need your help with 
something.
Amber: (suspiciously) With what?
Wren: Nothing too complicated, I just need you all to find a staff for me.
Heero: (also suspiciously) What does this staff do?
Wren: It helps plants grow. My village is going through a famine right now, and 
they could really use it.
Duo: Well where is this staff?
Wren: In there. (he points at the door just as another bolt of lightning cuts across 
the sky. Everyone jumps again.) Don't you all worry, I'll go with you. Wouldn't 
want you getting lost. Now, shall we?
Shannon: How do we know you're for real?
Wren: You don't, you'll just have to trust me. (He flashes her a highly charismatic 
smile and opens the door. Everyone starts to follow him inside. Duo looks back 
and notices that the storm is getting worse.)
Duo: I don't like this. There is something not right. (He continues inside and 
catches up with everyone else.)
Wren: I hope the journey here wasn't too dangerous. Those plains can be pretty 
treacherous this time of year.
Shannon: (whispering to Nicole) What is he talking about? We didn't go over any 
pl...ains... (she stops and stares into a mirror)
Nicole: What is it, Shannon? Oh my.... Guys, get over here. (everyone stops and 
walks over to the mirror)
Duo: Whats the fuss abo- oh. (All of the group looks at themselves in the mirror 
and find that they don't look like themselves. Instead they look like their gaming 
characters.)
Wufei: I should have seen this one coming. Its all sooooo obvious. 
Wren: What? What are you talking about?
Wufei: When we were pu- (Shannon puts a hand over his mouth and Nicole 
moves in front of him.)
Nicole: Its just that we didn't realize that we were so dirty from the trip. That's all. 
(Wren looks confused, but he shrugs his shoulders and continues on his way 
down a long hallway. There are several old and worn tapestries on the wall, each 
depicting a different bloody battle. Also along the corridor are tall, unlit 
candleabras covered in dust. Cobwebs hide the corners, and every now and then 
a rat or a mouse can be seen scuttling across the floor. Aside from the sounds of 
their feet shuffling across the floor and the occasional whispered conversation, 
there are no other sounds)
Shannon: (To Duo and Quatre) I guess he (referring to Wren) sees us as our 
characters rather than the regular us's. He must have hired us to help him find this 
staff of his.
Quatre: This is all just a little too wierd. Must be a case of mass hysteris.
Duo: I don't think so. It all seems pretty real.
(Just then, they come to a large room. There are three different passages, one on 
each wall. On either side of each passage are two torches, none of which are lit. 
Aside from that, the room is totally empty.)
Wren: This seems like a good place to split up. ( He points to Heero, Wufei, and 
Amber) You three go right. (Then he points to Trowa, Quatre, and Nicole) You 
can go left. The rest of us will go forward. Any questions?
Amber: Yeah. Is there anything specific that we look for to find where the staff is?
Wren: Not that I know of. Just be careful of traps. This place was built by one of 
the smartest elves ever known, he wouldn't be fool enough to leave it unguarded. 
(Everyone nods and splits up)
Shannon: (thinking to herself) Hmmmm... I'm walking down a deserted hallway, in 
a haunted castle, as a character I made up, with two of the hottest guys ever. 
What more could I ask for....maybe three of the hottest guys ever?
Wren: (looking at Shannon) Cecilia, right? (Shannon nods) I was wondering if 
you could tell me a bit about your wandering troupe. Performers have always 
interested me.
Duo: (whispering under his breath) Oh brother...
Shannon: (Elbowing Duo in the stomach...well, more like the knee cap) Of course, 
I'd be glad to. (she begins telling elaborate tales of the troupe that she had made 
up in her spare time, while Duo continues to roll his eyes and search passagways.)

MEANWHILE

Wufei: Why did we have to get stuck with this weak Onna? Why couldn't she go 
with one of the other groups?
Amber: Shut your trap, Wufei, or I'll shut it for you.
Heero: Would you guys stop bickering and help me look?
Amber and Wufei in unison: He/She started it.
Heero: (rolls eyes) Oh brother.

MEANWHILE MEANWHILE

Nicole: Hey guys, look what I found!
Quatre: What is it?
Trowa: It looks like a secret passageway.
Quatre: How did you find it?
Nicole: Well, I kida just 'happened' upon it.
Trowa: By 'happened' you mean...
Nicole: Um...fell...
Quatre: Figured as much.
Nicole: What's that supposed to mean.
Quatre: Just a little joke, that's all.
Nicole: That's what I thought.
Trowa: Lets find a torch so we can go into the passageway and look around. 
There's gotta be something interesting in there.
Nicole: Sure thing.
They all start looking for a torch. None of them notice the pair of bright, shining 
eyes that has suddenly began staring at them from deep in the shadows.
