"Let’s go this way," Sage suggested. "Alright," Linda agreed. The two walked towards another clearing, not far from where they were. They were just looking around, when something black appeared. It was that same machine that Linda and Sage saw in space. Sage stood there for a second, but then Linda pushed him down. "Shh," she said. "Stay down." "Hey, is that a Gundam?" Sage whispered. "Think so," Linda replied. "We better make sure." Suddenly, the cockpit opened and two teens jumped out. A girl with long brown hair, and a boy with brown hair in a large braid. "Wow, that was fun Duo," the girl said. "No sweat, Jan. But you know what this means," the boy, who must be Duo, said. "You have to take me for a ride in your Gundam now!" The two laughed and smiled at each other. "Whoa, we just found two Gundam pilots," Sage whispered. "I know," Linda replied. Suddenly, a large gust of wind came and shocked some sand in her eyes. "Hey!" she said a bit too loud. "Hey, who’s there!" Jan yelled as he and Duo turned around. They quickly pulled out their guns and pointed towards Sage and Linda. "Whoever is there better come out!" Duo yelled. "I’m gonna start firing soon!" "Cool it," Linda said, standing up. Sage did the same. "We don’t even have any weapons." "Who are you guys?" Jan asked, not lowering her gun. Duo wasn’t lowering his either. "You wouldn’t believe us if we told you," Sage said. "All you need to know for now is that we are on your side," Linda said. "Is that so," Duo said. "Who are you two, and what do you mean?" "My name is Sage and this is Linda," Sage explained. "We want to fight against Oz." "Listen," Linda said, getting tired of having to explain herself. "If we were enemies, we would have shot you as soon as you opened you Gundam." "Good point," Jan said. She and Duo lowered their guns slightly. "I still want to know exactly who you guys are," Duo said. "Are you part of the rebels?" "Put your guns away and follow us," Linda said. "We can show you." "How do we know we can trust you two?" Jan asked. "You could be Oz spies." "Since when do Oz soldiers sit and chat with their enemies?" Sage asked. "Anyway, aren’t soldiers older then 15 or 16?" "Well, you never know," Duo said with a grin. "Alright, I’ll believe you for now. Where do you want to show us?" "We are meeting some friends at Sundown," Sage said, "In that clearing over that way." "Fine," Jan said. "We’ll meet you there at Sundown." "Alright," Linda said. "Let’s go Sage." "Ok, I’m coming," Sage replied. He took one more look at the huge Gundam, and followed Linda. "Think they’ll come," Sage asked Linda, once they had gotten farther away. "Yea, I think so," Linda said. She suddenly tripped, but Sage caught her arm. "Huh?" she said. "Don’t worry, I got ya," Sage replied, with a smile. "Well," Linda said slowly. "Well, I didn’t really need any help. I could have caught myself before I fell." "Sure, but I wanted to be helpful," Sage answered smiling. He started to walk ahead. Linda stared at him for a moment, and then caught up. They headed back towards their clearing. * * * * * * * * * * * * When they got back, there was a two-story cabin there. Everyone else was just getting back, as well. "Were did that come from?" Neala asked. Then, Danny walked out the front door. "It was there the whole time," Danny replied. "No it wasn’t," Shira answered. "We would have seen it." "Not necessary," Danny replied. "It was here. I just had to get rid of a few trees. Plus, I fixed it up abit. I added Bobby’s invention to the basement." "What?" Rowen asked. "What’s Bobby’s invention?" "Why don’t we go see," Cye suggested. "Alright," Danny agreed, and everyone started to walk inside. "Hey, -" he said. "Aren’t you coming, Linda?" "No," she replied. "I know what it looks like. I’m gonna stay outside and train. Oh yea, Sage can tell you about our visitors." "K," Danny said, "Let’s go." The group walked inside and left Linda alone. "So, who’s coming?" "We met two Gundam pilots," Sage explained. "They’re coming later. Wow, this place doesn’t look to bad." "I know," Danny said. "Not bad, huh?" "Not at all," Kento said. "Hey, what was in the basement?" "Follow me," Danny said. They followed him to a door in the back. They quickly opened it, and went down the stairs. Downstairs was very different from upstairs. Upstairs was very cozy, with a fireplace, TV room, and a kitchen. Downstairs, on the other hand, was very different. It had a few different rooms, including sleeping quarters, and a large computer room. There was another door, but Danny didn’t let them enter. "That’s Bobby’s room," he explained. "Bobby?" Kento asked. "Who’s he?" "Um, Linda and I have two other friends we fight with. Bobby’s one of them," Danny said. "He’s our own mad scientist. He likes to play around in the lab. He actually has invented a few good inventions. The room isn’t done yet, I’m going to let him set up everything," Danny finished. "Wow," Neala said. "That’s amazing." "Yea, but why don’t we go back upstairs," Rowen suggested. "We’ve seen everything here, so let’s go wait for our guests to arrive." The others agreed, so they all went upstairs and outside. "Hey, are they here yet?" Shira asked Linda, when they had gotten outside. "No, unless I’m going blind and deaf," Linda answered, and then turned around. "Here they come," she said. Sure enough, Duo and Jan were walking towards them. When they reached the others, they stopped and looked around. "Big group," Duo commented. "Yea, I guess so," Danny said. "Who are you two?" "These are the two Gundam pilots we met," Sage explained. "Hi. Remember me? I’m Sage and this is Linda. We met in the woods." "We remember," Jan said. "I’m Jan and this is Duo." "We’re ready to hear your long story," Duo said. "Sure, but you should come in," Sage said. "It’s getting darker and colder." "Alright," the two slowly agreed. The whole group went inside and went to what must be the Living Room. "Story time," Cye said. "Why don’t one of you start," he motioned to Linda and Danny. "I will," Linda volunteered. She told them the whole story, starting with when she was on the Moon, and ending with Danny fixing the house. It did take awhile to tell the whole thing. When it was all over, the group looked at the two Gundam pilots. Jan gave them all an odd look, and Duo burst out laughing. "Ok, that was a great story," he said while laughing. "Let’s try the truth now." "That is the truth!" Kento explained. "Alright, but you must agree that it’s a little hard to believe," Jan said. "People from other planets and warriors from the past?" "Alright, I agree," Linda said. "It is hard to believe, but so are teenagers piloting Gundams. We’re telling the truth." "Can you prove it?" Duo asked. "Yea," Shira said, jumping up. "Follow me downstairs." Duo and Jan followed Shira downstairs. When they came back, Duo and Jan were very quiet. "Wow," Duo said. "I don’t believe this." "Now do you see?" Cye said. "Everything we told was true." "Whoa," Jan said. "This is still hard to believe. You’re telling us that aliens want to take over the world." "Yes," Linda said slowly. "I’m glad you finally understand. Took you long enough." "Well, you know our secret," Kento said. "Let’s hear yours." "I guess that’s fair," Jan said. "Well, you already know we are Gundam pilots," Duo said. "My Gundam is called Deathsythe Hell, so I’m known as the god of Death." "My Gundam is Hailstorm," Jan said. "There are a few more of us Gundam pilots. There’s Heero, Trowa, Quatre, Wufei, and Yasmin. Oh, and I guess you could count Zeches and Treize. Those two aren’t exactly on our side, thought." "We can’t forget about Natalie, Noin, and Sally," Duo pointed out. "Natalie pilots the Vey-8, which is like our Gundams. Her cousin is Sally. Sally is a rebel that fights against Oz. She used to be a Major for the Earth Sphere Alliance. She’s friends with Noin. Noin used to be a Lt. for Oz, but now she’s head of the Royal guard for the Cinq Kingdom. She does everything she can to help Miss. Relena, the leader of the Cinq Kingdom." "That’s really it," Jan said, and then looked at her watch. "We really should be going now," she said. "I guess so," Duo said. "We’ll come back tomorrow, though." Then he and Jan got up to leave. "Ok," Linda said. "We’ll talk tomorrow. I have a plan, but we might need your help." Duo and Jan left, so everyone else went to bed soon after. Only Linda and Danny stayed up, talking about their plans for the next day. The next morning, everyone was awake early. Duo and Jan came back, sometime around eleven. "Hi y’all," Duo greeted them. "Hey, we want to talk to you," Ryo said. Linda and Danny had told them all about their plan, but they had to clear it with the Gundam pilots first. "What do you want?" Jan asked. "Well," Shira said. "Linda and Danny thought of a good idea, but I’ll let them explain it." "Do you guys want to save this planet?" Danny asked and the other two nodded. "Then we think you should help us. It would be a great help if we could get all the Gundam pilots on our side." Duo and Jan thought for a moment. Finally, Jan said, "Alright, I’m in." "So am I," Duo added. "One problem though," he said. "Not everyone else will be this easy to convince. Wufei, for example, will be almost impossible to convince." "Well, we can try our best atleast," Rowen said. "You never know." "I suppose," Jan said. "Stranger things have happened, I think." "Good," Linda said. "Do you know where anyone else is?" "Yea," Duo said, "I have a good idea, atleast." "Alright, just tell us then," Linda said. "Ok," Duo started. "Natalie is with Trowa in the traveling circus. They should be on a colony in sector L4. Quatre and Yasmin are in the desert. Heero and Noin are with Relena, in the Cinq Kingdom. Sally is near the Lake Andrea Base, and I last I heard, Wufei is causing trouble in space." "Wow," Neala said. "You people don’t hang together, do you?" "You can say that again," Rowen added. "They’re all over the place." "Why don’t we pair up?" Sage suggested. "Then, each group will go to find certain people." "Alright," Danny said. "Pair up everyone." The pairs ended up being Duo and Jan, Ryo and Rowen, Cye and Kento, Neala and Shira, and Linda and Sage. Danny decided to stay back at home base. "Ok, let’s see," Linda said. "Neala and Shira can go to find Quatre and Yasmin. Cye and Kento, you go to the Cinq Kingdom. Ryo and Rowen can go look for Sally, and Duo and Jan, why don’t you find Wufei?" "That makes sense," Jan said. "Wufei knows us atleast. It still won’t be easy." "Great," Danny said "Linda and Sage, you can go find Trowa and Natalie. Any idea on how to get to space?" "There’s a base not far from here," Duo said. "You can steal a shuttle there, with our help." "We can go tonight," Jan said. "Leave the MS to us, and you all can take the guards." They all agreed, so it was settled. That night, they attacked. The two Gundam pilots attacked, while the others took over the base. Linda got to shuttles, one for her, and one for the Gundams. The others took jeeps for themselves. It ended up being an easy battle. As soon as it was done, everyone split up. Duo and Jan went in their shuttle, and so did Linda and Sage. Once in space, the Gundam pilots went to a base that hadn’t been hit by Wufei yet. The other two went to a colony in section L3. Neala and Shira took off in a jet. They weren’t sure how far they would get, since neither one knew how to fly it. As Shira put it, "Thank goodness for auto pilot!" Kento and Cye took a jeep. The Cinq Kingdom really wasn’t that far away. Ryo and Rowen also took a jeep. They were happy because Duo said they had the easiest one. All they had to do was find her. Danny was the only one staying behind. He kept busy by keeping an eye on everything and practicing his yo-yo tricks.
