"Hi guys!" a girl yelled, as they got there. She wasn’t that much older then the Roins, maybe 19 or 20. Linda figured she must be Mia. "Hey, - you brought back some visitors." "Yea," Ryo said. "These are out guests. Let’s go inside and introduce everyone." Mia nodded and the group went inside. They quickly made their way to the Living room. Linda was a bit surprised that the tiger came, but no one seemed to notice. Mia and the guys sat on the couch, Yuli and the tiger sat on the floor, and the other three hesitated for a moment, no knowing where to go. Finally, Justin sat in a chair, and Danny and Linda stood in the doorway. "First things first," Linda said. "Names. Who are you all?" "We can go first," Justin suggested, "but first, I would like to thank you for letting us come to your home, Miss." "Don’t worry," Mia said, smiling. "I would just like to know what’s going on." "Alright," Justin said. "Let’s see. My name is Justin. I am commander of the Royal Army on the Moon." Justin paused, trying to find a way to explain his home. "You see, we come for a different Solar System. Every Solar System has a sister-system. Our System is your sister-system. We have all the same planets, but with some differences. People only live on the Earth here. Where we come from, people live on all the planets. We are only missing the Earth, because it was destroyed in a battle." No one noticed, but Linda frowned when Justin said that. "Now to continue," Justin said, "these two are also from the Moon. This is Danny, whom I’ve had the pleasure to train almost his entire life. This is Princess Linda. I haven’t trained her, but I will be training her now. I have known her, her entire life. They are both warriors, much like yourselves. Linda is our chosen one. It happens to be her destiny to rid the universe of evil. We came to Earth to stop an evil alien from taking over Earth. Somehow, we ended up in the past, though. We must make it to the right Earth before it is to late." "Ok," Linda said, cutting Justin off. "Now that we’ve told them our life story, let’s hear theirs." "Fair enough," Ryo said. "I already told you guys my name. I have the armor of Wildfire. That’s my friend White Blaze," he said, pointing to the tiger. Danny and Linda both thought he sounded like the leader. He was sort of tall with black hair. Sage was the next to introduce himself. He had blond hair that covered one eye. He had the green armor, which he called the Armor of Halo. Next, was Rowen. He had dark blue armor, called Armor of Strata. He had blue hair and talked with some sort of accent. After that, Kento introduced himself. He had the orange armor, or the Armor of Hardrock. He also had a bunch of muscles and dark hair. The last Ronin was Cye. He had the light blue armor, which he called the Armor of Torrent. He had brown hair and a different accent then Rowen. He and Rowen seemed to be the shy ones. Then, Mia and Yuli introduced themselves as well. Mia owned the house. All the Ronins looked about 16, and Yuli looked about 8. Yuli was a cute kid, with dark hair. He looked like he was good friends with White Blaze. They had just finished, when two girls walked in. They both looked about the same age as the Ronins. "Hey," one of them called out. "What’s going on?" Ryo quickly walked up to them and filled them in. When he was done, he turned to the others. "These two are our female Ronins. This is Neala and this is Shira." The two girls leaned against the wall and said hi. Shira had long brown hair and green eyes. Neala had shorter, brown hair and brown eyes. They were both about the same height as everyone else. "What armors do you two have?" Danny asked the two. "Well," Shira said. "My armor is purple and I call it the Armor of Luna. Neala’s armor is yellow and called the Armor of Sol." "Well, that was a good story," Danny said. "I’m glad you liked it," Linda said, "but storytime is over. We still have our big problem. If we don’t get to the future, Earth will be destroyed." "Linda’s right," Justin said. "At home, we have a Council. It is made up of people from all the planets. The Council is scared of the Earth. In the future, a war is going on. The Earth people don’t seem to know what peace is. The Council doesn’t want the Earth people to explore outer space anymore then they already have." "Yes," Danny agreed. "You see, in the future there are colonies in space. The government controls the colonies and the Earth. They are an evil organization. If we can’t make peace on Earth, the Council might destroy it." "What?!?" everyone cried out. "Can they really do that?" Mia asked. "Yes," Linda said. "That’s why we must get to the future Earth." "Don’t worry," Justin said. "We will do what we can. In fact, I’ve decided that once I make sure these two get to the right Earth, I’m going to go home. I’ll try to change their minds." Mia thought for a moment. "Well, you are welcomed to spend the night here." "Thank you," Danny said. "I’m sure we won’t be here long." Then he turned to Linda. "I think Justin and I should go make those minor repairs. Plus," he added with a grin, "We can try out Bobby’s new invention, that invisible shield. We can’t have people stealing our shuttle." "Ok," Linda said, "But, I don’t think anyone could steal it without us noticing. What am I suppose to do until you guys get back?" "Oh, you’ll think of something," Danny said, as he and Justin left. "Thanks," Linda muttered. Then, she turned to the others. "Well," Mia said, noticing a silence in the room. "I should go make dinner." "I’ll help," Cye said. "We wouldn’t want Kento to go hungry. Who knows what he would eat." "Hey! What’s that suppose to mean!" Kento yelled, but all the Ronins laughed, including Mia and Yuli. Linda just leaned against the wall. Kento finally let it go and sat back down, and Mia and Cye went to go make dinner, with Yuli as their helper. "Well, you’re the guest," Sage told Linda. "What would you like to do?" "Huh?" Linda said. "I’m gonna train outside. I don’t care what the rest of you do." Linda walked to the door and went outside. "Nice girl, huh?" Rowen asked. "Oh, yea. She’s just peachy," Shira said back. "What do you think Ryo?" "I say, let’s give her some time," he answered. "Maybe she’ll warm up to us." "I agree," Sage said. "Why?" Neala asked. "Do you boys really think that, or do you just like blond princesses?" "Come on," Sage said. "There’s something about her. I don’t know yet, but I’m gonna find out." Sage suddenly noticed something round and red on the floor. He went and picked it up. "Hey guys, follow me. I got an idea," he said with a sly grin. The whole group followed Sage outside. Sage walked right up to where Linda was practicing a few kicks and punches. "Hey Linda!" he yelled. She stopped and turned around. "What do you want?" she asked and crossed her arms. She didn’t like being interrupted for no reason. "This better be good," she muttered. "The guys here say you just show off," Sage said. "They don’t believe this whole Master Warrior or whatever. I want to have a test. A game of Frisbee. "What?" Linda said. "That’s just a dumb game. How will that prove anything?" "Oh I see," Ryo said, getting the idea. "You’re just scared that you’ll lose." "I don’t think so," Linda said. "Then play," Neala said. "Fine, I will," Linda said. "Great," Sage said. "First, the rules. Everyone gets in a large circle. When you throw the Frisbee, you yell out a person’s name. If the person misses the Frisbee, he or she is out. If you catch it, you’re next. Ok?" Everyone nodded and then spread out. "Alright, Ryo!" Ryo ran and caught it. "Shira!" Shira jumped up just in time to catch it. She then threw it to Neala, and Neala threw it to Rowen. This continued for awhile and then people started to get out. Finally, Shira, Ryo, Sage, and Linda were left. All four of them were very good. The first to get out was Ryo, and then Sage. "Hey, do we really have to keep yelling out each others names?" Shira asked. "I mean, we are the only ones left." "I don’t think so," Linda answered. She tossed the Frisbee and Shira barely caught it. "Keep your eyes open, or I’ll win." "Thanks for the advice, but you should do the same!" Shira yelled, as Linda had to dive to catch the Frisbee. "Hey guys! Dinner is ready," Cye said, coming out of the house. "Come and get it!" "Why don’t you two continue this later?" Kento suggested. "Yea, you wouldn’t want your food to get cold," Rowen added. "Alright," Shira said. "It’s a draw, but I want a rematch." "Of course," Linda said, smiling. "So you can smile," Sage pointed out. Linda stopped smiling and got her frown back. "Hey, I didn’t mean anything about it." "Whatever, Danny and Justin are back," Yuli said. "Just in time for dinner. Let’s go meet them." "Hi guys!" Danny called out. "We’re back, in case you didn’t notice." "Thanks, I didn’t notice," Linda said. "What took you so long?" "We had a few problems with the invisible shield." Justin said. "What did you do?" he said, eyeing the red Frisbee in Linda’s hand. "Made some new friends?" "No, of course not," Linda said. "It was a challenge." "Yup," Mia said, trying to keep the peace between everyone. "Now come eat before it gets cold." "I helped, so now you have to eat it," Yuli added. Everyone followed him inside to a great meal. It was really good, with mashed potatoes and steak. You could tell Cye and Mia worked hard to make it. "Great job you guys," Rowen told them. "Thanks guys," Cye said. "It really wasn’t that hard to do." "You three must be good chiefs," Justin said. "Thanks," Mia said. "Is everyone finished?" They all nodded, so she said, "Ok, I’ll clean up." "Nonsense," Justin said. "Why don’t you let the three of us do it?" "Sure, we can do it," Danny said. "No sweat." "Then it’s settled. You all can go in the living room and relax," Justin said. It took a minute, but everyone left. Danny, Linda, and Justin were left to clean up. "This won’t be that hard," Justin said. "No, but you didn’t have to volunteer us," Danny said. "I guess we should though. They have been real nice to us." "Whatever," Linda muttered. "Let’s just get it done." "Linda, what did you do while we were gone?" Justin asked. Linda frowned. "Nothing really," she said, and then went back to doing the dishes. "It sure looked like you were playing with a Frisbee," Danny said and grinned. "You know, making friends and goofing off." "I don’t think so," Linda said. "You know, it wouldn’t hurt to make some new friends," Justin said. "I know Austin told you some junk about making friends, but he’s mistaken." "Whatever," Linda said. "I don’t listen to Austin, I do what I want. Friends are just a weakness in battle. Besides, why make friends when you just leave them behind when we move to a different planet?" Justin shook his head, and just let the subject drop. * * * * * * * * * * * *
