To all of you down with Nothingface, or for those of you who have not had the liberty of taking in simply the best band out of the DC area, I had a chance to ask them a few questions about their upcoming album, and find out a little history. Check it out!

Derek: How did Nothingface come to be?

Tom: May 5th will be our fifth year together. Myself and Chris met thru an add Chris put out saying.."drummer looking to form the heaviest band in the world"!!!......I said "Fuck-Yeah" and went out and jammed with Chris.

Bill: That one jam was all we needed to know that we had something special. Then we stole Matt from another band in D.C, and here we are.

Derek: Tell me what's new and different on the next album...if any?

Matt: The music is much more dynamic. Both extremes are pushed to their limits. One minute your pummeled with the most obscene horror rock.....then the next minute your feeling gut wrenching sadness. Our music has multiple personalities.

Derek: Why did you choose not to quote, unquote sellout?

Chris: No one has offered us enough money yet...

Matt: Selling out is interpreted differently. Alot of fans believe that if a band becomes too big or ends up on MTV's TRL that a band soldout. To me selling out is comprimising your artistic integrity for the the mighty dollar or overnight success. To put it simply thats something this band will never do.....We do what we want!

Derek: Do you have any goals for this record?

Bill: Yes....to display my Bass playing POWER!!!!!!

Matt: To raise the standards and quality of heavy music.

Tom: Yeah.....World domination!!

Derek: Any firsts you can tell us?

Tom: For the first time we're having a hard time playing our songs......must be a good thing.

Derek: What track has the most meaning?

Matt: There's one called 'Filthy'...because the verse and pre-chorus I wrote a long time ago. It takes me back to when I was beginning this life as a musician.

Tom: I don't know yet....i still need to hear the rest of the record when its finished.

Derek: When is the release date???

Bill: It'll be out sometime this summer.

Derek: If you had a microphone with the world listening, what would you say?

Tom: I'd say live life to the extreme fullest....be happy...do what you want to do and quit taking life so serious....cause you'll never get out alive.

Matt: Everybody needs to stop worrying about what other people do in their own lives. For instance....if you wanna smoke weed...smoke weed...if you want to jerk off to people shitting on each other ...then do it....and if you wanna fuck then fuck.... So people...Now hear this......"Mind your own fucking business"!!!!!!!!
