Not By Choice Play Out 2002

By: The ChartAttack.com Staff

It's already been a great year for Ajax, Ontario's other favourite band of young punk rockers, Not By Choice. This year saw NBC ink a deal with Linus Entertainment, which led to the release of their Maybe One Day album. Maybe One Day spawned the radio hit "Standing All Alone," which has been going through our heads for about four months now. Damn them punks!

Not By Choice are going to end the year with a bang, touring through Quebec and a wee bit of Ontario before they flip their calendars to 2003. To top it off, the boys have been invited to usher in the New Year all legit like they'll be part of the public New Year's celebration at Toronto's Nathan Philips Square, which will also be broadcast in T.O. on CityTV.

And if you're sick of hearing "Standing All Alone," take solace in the fact that NBC will be releasing a new radio single in early January, plus a new video. Look for "Now That You Are Leaving" on the nation's music stations soon.
