Maybe One Day, which has already spawned the video and single "Standing All Alone," will be released next Tuesday (September 3) and Not By Choice figure that they're deserving of something a little bigger than your typical CD release party. So they've organized a CD release parade. And they're not just chugging down some side-street in Ajax, either they're taking over Toronto's Yonge Street. During rush hour.
At 4 p.m., the band will board a flatbed truck at Victoria and Gould (just North of Dundas) and head to Yonge St, on which they'll travel Southwards. And yes, they would much appreciate it if Yonge was lined with adoring fans. Screaming, adoring fans.
Next up for Not By Choice? They've committed themselves to the aforementioned Pepsi Taste Challenge Tour for most of September. The band will be hitting the road with fellow Ajaxers, Sum 41 to do a tour of Western and Central Canada from September 4 to 22. The shows are only open to Pepsi winners, so if you see one of those little Pepsi Taste Challenge booths set up, for the love of Pete, give it a try. In the meantime, we'll be sure to let you know when the band sets up a regular tour, open to people who prefer grape, orange or cream soda (or better yet, booze).
