ANN Special Reports
Study: Harriet Miers and the Supreme Court
Source: Yahoo News
Harriet Miers is President Bush's nomination to the Supreme Court.  Miers has caused quite a political fray.
Many do not understand why the appointment of Harriet Miers is such a big deal.  The decision seems pretty easy to make; select a person who can interpret the constitution and make rulings souly on that skill.  There is a hisorical reason for the political debate that is pulling Republican support away from Bush over his nominee, and the battle that is to approach is already gearing up for the first shot.

ANN approaches this matter with a factual, non-biased (frankly because we don't have a clue what she's about either) explaination which will detail why the court picks are some of the hottest decisions a political leader in the U.S. can make.
This Special Report will be organized as a sort of timeline.  The chapters below will speak to their specific outline, and all should be read in order.
Chapter 1: Brown v. Board of Education: Politicizing the Court
Chapter 2: Harriet Miers: Who is She?
Chapter 3: Issues of the Court: What will Miers be Doing?
Chapter 4: History of the Supreme Court: For the Curious
Harriet Miers & the Supreme Court
President Bush loves her, congressional Republicans and Democrats don't know why.
