| Here is my DIY canopy for the new tank. As it sits right now it will house one 250 watt MH and two 40 watt NO's. Eventually i will add another MH to balance everything out. I will also be changing the two NO's from 55k to one actinic and one 65k. All three will be run on seperate timers with the actinic first on then the NO, then the MH and shut down in the oppisite order. MH first then the NO with the actinic last. this will simulate the dusk to dawn effect. |

| Well it's finally up and running. I've had only one misfortune...as i figured, i was going to cycle again and in the process my percula passed. I was pretty bummed but as far as everything else they have survived. As soon as everything drops and comes back to normal ill add a pair of percs this time then start on the corals !!! Well heres the first pic, not much there, I pretty much used everything from my 30 gal tank and just transferred it over including the water. |
