My first experiance with the 5.0 Mustang's was with this 88 LX.
I got the car stone stock and after a 6 year love and hate relationship it evolved into what you see below. I took this car from 14.30's@97mph to a 10.79@122mph in the quarter, all while driving it nearly everyday in the summer! Unfortunatly the car had a terminal case of cancer and had to be retired. This car holds alot of memories and good times for me, and bad thought's and nightmares for those that came up against it at the track or in town at a light.
Thankfully the heart and spirit of this car will live on in my new 89 LX coupe, and hopefully create a reputation for itself the same way the 88 did.
