Personally-Composed Computer-Music

These songs are all composed in either .s3m or .it formats. Unfortunately, none of these songs are currently available directly through this webpage. However, some or all of these songs may be accessed through the IMM pages, as they have stored (somewhere) all the music which I have submitted to them for review and release. This includes two songs in the first WMR Music Pak, The Irony of Force and Take Me To The Real.
I recommend listening to these songs using the latest version of Impulse Tracker (v2.14). I also recommend this program for playing all other contemporary module formats except for the Amiga .med (Try OctaMED if you got Win95).

Suffering Variety .s3m This is my first formally released music, and was completed on the first of January, 1997. Stylistically, this is a combination of orchestral ambience, tribal rhythm, and light industrial bass. 16 channels, runs about 3.5 minutes.
The Irony of Force, or "2-17-97.s3m" remix .it This is my second formal release. Completed around May of 1997. Stylistically, this song is a combination of trance-industrial, pop-dance, and pop-jazz influences. 16 channels, runs about 6.5 minutes.
Trapped or Hiding? .s3m Completed around August of 1997. This song is more traditional-- it is a combination of melodic-trance, ambience, and light-dance. This mix runs about 4 minutes, and uses 16 channels.

All music contained on this page is Copywrite 1998 by Jeremy Oertel. Distribution of this music is endorsed as long as there is no transfer of wealth associated with the distribution. This is a prohibition of commerical use. All samples contained in these modules are considered freeware, and may be used/abused without the consent of myself or the person who originally sampled them. If enough samples from a particular song/author are used in a new song, some credits/reference should be given to show the geneology of the samples where applicable. In many cases, I have no idea where many samples I use originated, but I give credit where credit is known.
