Week 10 Review
The Big Games:
Anal at Bandcamp (8-2) 110.92 over Flaming Stewies (7-3) 100.14

Both teams went out and did what they needed and continued business as usual.  Except for Tyler Thigpen who busted out 25 points to make the difference in this matchup.  AABC sealed the victory on Monday Night, but this has to feel good as this is their first victory over the Stewies in over 3 years.  These two teams have had an annual playoff meeting and the two NFC division leaders seem destined for another meeting in December.

Hotsauce (6-4) 78.05 over Patriots Dynasty (4-6) 69.89
Hotsauce just won't go away after picking up their 6th win in their past 7 games at the expense of the Pat's Dynasty's playoff hopes.  Hotsauce now trails three different playoff contenders by just one game with a real possibility of sneaking in.  Meanwhile, Pat's Dynasty's loss hurts, but is not the end.  They are tied for the last playoff spot but trail in points to Mill Creek Bulldogs.  The Dynasty does have a considerably easier schedule than either the Bulldogs or CLC, so they still have to feel good about their chances, but it won't be easy through the last three weeks.

Somerville Spartans (6-4) 107.56 over Mill Creek Bulldogs (4-6) 97.10
The Spartans have finally separated themselves from the rest of the division with another win.  Through the first 8 weeks, the Spartans could not shake their divisional foes, standing in a tie with the Pat's Dynasty.  Now the Spartans have gotten away, and stating at #2 in the overall points standings, they are now basically in the playoffs for the second year in a row.  As for the Bulldogs, they lead the three team race for the last spot in the AFC wild card race, but only by points.  They might need an upset against the Bandits or Argonauts along with a win over the CLC to get in, but it is possible.

The Upset:
N.E. Chowderheads (5-5) 77.93 over Denver Roncos (7-3) 52.20

The Chowderheads stay alive after handing the Roncos their 3rd straight loss.  The win helps the Chowderheads keep pace one game behind Hotsauce and Capt Acorn, and trails both wild card spots by 2 games.  With only three left to go, the Chowderheads are getting the job done as one loss will end their hopes.  As for the Roncos, despite starting the season at 7-0, they find themselves tied for the division lead and wild card lead with two hot teams just one game back.  The Roncos have to hope that Romo's return will spark a hot streak with three playoff contenders coming to town in the next three weeks.
