| Week 6 Round-up | ||||||||||||||||||||
| After 6 weeks the playoff picture has focused and has some surprise teams in the hunt. With the divisions getting sorted out, here's a look at each one with how things will shake out along with the weekly power rankings. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| AFC West | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Currently: Somerville Spartans (4-2) Bush City Baby Eaters (4-2) (2nd in WC) Pirates (3-3) (3rd in WC) Pat's Dynasty (3-3) (4th in WC) Not so fast. It looked like the Spartans were going to run away with this one but the surprise surge of the Baby Eaters and Pat's Dynasty along with the recovery out of the Pirates has made this an exciting race yet again. Last past two years the Spartans were just outside of the playoff picture but now are in the right spot for the division win. The Baby Eaters are a fluke up to this point, but playing .500 the rest of the way could mean playoffs. The Pirates won it all last year and looked weak early on, but are now going to make a strong push for a playoff spot and should get it. The Pat's Dynasty has been going strong, but in this division the playoffs don't seem likely. But a great year so far and could be in the picture in the future. Prediction: Somerville Spartans Pirates (2nd in WC) Pat's Dynasty (4th in WC) Bush City Baby Eaters (5th in WC) |

| Currently: Toronto Argonuts (4-2) Detroit Wolverines (4-2) (1st in WC) El Paso Bandits (3-3) (4th in WC) Columbus Liquid Courage (0-6) (6th in WC) The Argonauts are the heavy favorite to win this divisoin, especially with the fade of the Bandits. Toronto fell just enough for the Wolves to jump into a first place tie and into third in overall points. The Argonauts are just too good to let this one fall through and should get clinch this one with a week or two to finish. With two wild card spots, the Wolves can expect to have one by the end of the year with their competition now being the Baby Eaters, Pirates and Bandits. The Bandits have really fallen apart the past few weeks and and now in a slump that could cost them the season. They have been taking big losses after scoring next to nothing the past three weeks. But they won't be the worst, as Columbus plays in this division and flat out sucks. Prediction: Toronto Argonauts Wolverines (1st in WC) El Paso Bandits (3rd in WC) Columbus Liquid Courage (0-13, 6th in WC) |

| Currently: AABC (4-2) N.E. Chowderheads (4-2) (1st in WC) Kellen Kunt Krushers (2-4) (4th in WC) Vilma=God (2-4) (5th in WC) The AABC division will be dominated once again, but the Chowderheads are really hanging in there. The Chowderheads are in a spot right now to be the first NFC West team to win a wild card spot, but could potentially upset AABC and be the first to beat him in the division. All signs point to AABC holding on and winning, but the Chowderheads are having a great year regardless. The Kunt Krushers and Vilma=God are starting to trail off, as pretty much expected and will be finishing towards the bottom again. This division will stay interesting for the top two teams, but both can be expected to be playoff-bound. Prediction: AABC N.E. Chowderheads (2nd in WC) Kellen Kunt Krushers (4th in WC) Vilma=God (6th in WC) |

| NFC East | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Currently: Denver Roncos (4-2) Flaming Stewies (3-3) (2nd in WC) Capt. Acorn (3-3?) (3rd in WC) Hotsauce (1-5) (6th in WC) What was expected to be a race between Acorn and the Stewies has been blown wide open by the Roncos. The Roncos are 2-1 in the division and making a statement as they eye the playoffs right off the bat. The Stewies have been shakey since starting strong, but still lead the league in total points which will be enough for a playoff spot. Capt. Acorn was weak early, but has defeated the Roncos and stayed competetive and will make this an exciting three team race down the stretch. Hotsauce has been a victim of the schedule and will miss the playoffs this year due to the horrendous start. Prediction: Flaming Stewies Denver Roncos (1st in WC) Capt Acorn (3rd in WC) Hotsauce (5th in WC) |
