Hard luck story.

Tony S from Salisbury Downs, SA writes;

In 2004 I had purchased a new Suzuki GSXR 600, and was keen to introduce my wife to the joys of motorcycling.   With my wife seated on the pillion seat, I heaved the bike up off the sidestand, promptly overbalanced, and we all came crashing to the ground on the right side.   My wife was nearly in tears from the shock, and I was in tears after seeing the broken indicator, brake lever, fairing and decal damage.

Despite this setback, my wife agreed to continue the ride, so with the weather bureau promising fine conditions, we headed to the Adelaide hills.   After getting soaked by the rain, (no wet weather gear of course) I had a wet, lonely ride home to pick up the car, to go back to the hills and pick up my wife.  It was quite a long time before we planned and shared another ride.
