**The above picture represents a small Collage of Ireland that I made up from a few pictures.**

Perhaps one of the most interesting aspects of Loreena's  music is that she encompasses not only that of the Celtic Tradition, but themes from around the world. Born in Canada of Irish parents, she followed her roots and took up singing.

Fans of Highlander may know her by her song Bonny Potmore from CD THE VISIT. "O Bonny Portmore I am Sorry to see...."
I wish her well in her cause to save the Oak trees of Ireland!

Bonny Potmore is one of my favorite songs. I don't know why. . . that's just a mystery. The first time I heard it, I didn't know what it was. It took me a lot of asking around before I found out that it was by Loreena Mckennitt.

Her new CD, THE BOOK OF SECRETS, is also wonderful.

**If you like Loreena McKennitt, you may also like the following artists:

Connie Dover--One of the most beautiful human voices that I've ever heard.
Enya--Visit my Enya Page. It needs to be updated, though. Wonderful style.     Certainly one of my favorites.
Enigma--a cool European group!
The Cranberries--I don't listen to them too much simply because I don't have the time to really check them out and see what they are about, but there is this one song that keeps playing on the radio every now and then.  I would certainly recommend them.

More Updates/Info Soon.
