Trevor and Harold break NCL partnership record |

Back in 2007 playing for the thirds, Trevor Barrett and Harold Van Zanten shared a 112/118 (Depending on whos book you believe!) run partnership for the 8th wicket against Hethersett & TV. Harold has recently discovered that this broke the Norfolk Cricket League record, beating the 99 hit in 1995 by a pair from Costessey.
This partnership has also beaten the club record for the 8th wicket of 105 by P.Antell and M. Garood against Dereham in 1998, presumably set in the Alliance league. (Although the NU records only go as far back as 1994)
Congratulations to Trev and VZ. However it must be noted this episode constitutes a huge case of jug avoidance, and the pair are now expected to make up for this at the next available opportunity.
