Man . . .

They tell us that God made this Earth,

He made the sea and sky,

He made the plants and animals

And he made you and I.

The idea as the Bible says

Was all to share the place,

But Man has got this strange idea

That he's the super race!

He goes around and chops down trees.

He ploughs up all the land,

Destroys all of the rain forests

And turns the earth to sand.

He kills off all the wildlife,

Till breeds exist no more,

Then stands back in amazement,

Wondering what he did it for!

And when you think he's learned enough

To know what's wrong from right,

He has to start a war or two,

To prove that he can fight!

And when he's finally killed enough

To make his fighting cease,

He stockpiles Nuclear weapons

And says they maintain peace!

Anon.
