Marsh Demo Report - Norwich
Wednesday, 20th March – Day 3 of the Marsh tour saw 25+ activists demo Norwich’s prestigious Queens Road regional HQ premises for the 4th time since the campaign against them began. This time it was bigger and better and much, much noisier than ever before and even attracted the support of a host of children from a nearby school out on their lunch break! Once again, activists from Norwich, King’s Lynn and Gt Yarmouth joined forces to support SHAC in the centre of the East Anglian capital to hammer home the message to Marsh and the public that collaborating in animal abuse will not be tolerated under any circumstances! A vibrant display of banners and placards, combined with a near non-stop cacophony of drums, whistles, sirens, horns and megaphone announcements, left the management, staff, security and the passing public in no doubt whatsoever about the evil dealings Marsh are involved with. The famous SHAC marching banner was used to great effect when it was proudly displayed for all to see atop the Queens Road multi-storey car park! Another very successful day of action against this major HLS supplier and unless they quickly sever all their links with the evil puppy killers at HLS, it certainly won’t be the last! The demo was followed by a brief unannounced home visit to ????????, a Marsh director at 34, Broadland Drive, Thorpe End, Norwich.
On behalf of the three local Norfolk groups, I wish to offer my grateful thanks and appreciation to SHAC for including this often forgotten corner of the UK on their national tour. I am certain they were not disappointed with the support they received from our gallant, determined and united band of activists.
