The RSPCA has now completed its report on the use of primates in xenotransplantation research carried out by Imutran Ltd.
The material had been subject to an injunction by Imutran Ltd, but in May 2002 the parent company, Novartis agreed that all the material in the report could be submitted to the RSPCA’s Council and that no application to the court would be necessary.
