No hunt ban.  Badger culling.

Cosmetic tests not banned by law – only halted by agreement.

The promised Royal Commission on vivisection was immediately abandoned.

Transplant-laboratory atrocities approved and hushed up – “Corrupt

Government” – Uncaged Campaigns.

Farm animals still treated as objects not sentient creatures.

Live exports continue.  Sheep still sent abroad to be hacked with kitchen knives in religious slaughter.  Dog registration abandoned.

Nothing done to improve control on exotic animal breeders.

 

 

Dear Tony Blair,

 

          I am totally disgusted with this government’s broken promises on animal rights issues and would like to know when it is going to honour the above pre-election statement.

 

          Voters will not continue to be blackmailed and see their votes abused on these issues.  This government, like previous governments, continues to bow to big business and protect the animal abusers.

 

NEW LABOUR – OLD LIES!
