Scenario Dreams Part 1: The Beginning

One night, quite a while back, I was sitting on the roof of my house gazing at the sky and creating scenarios of things that could never happen in my head. It was a clear night, with all the stars shining in the sky. Such a peaceful night. After a while I fell asleep right there on the roof.

Hours passed, until it was about 3:00 in the morning. I woke up suddenly, realizing that there was something strange going on. I looked all around, my intuition blazing, warning of a disturbance around me. I saw nothing until I looked up. There above me was something huge. There is no way to describe its size. It made absolutely no sound at all, but just sat there. My imagination kicked in, and I started thinking what I would do if my scenarios were true. Then something happened, a pale blue light was emitted from the object and concentrated on me. Suddenly I started feeling different somehow. My eyesight became clear and pierced through the darkness so that I could see as well as if it were twilight. I also felt another change, I was shrinking! Smaller, and smaller, and smaller until I was less than two feet tall. My whole body felt odd, like it wasn’t my own. I looked over to my side to see if the light had affected anything else, but what I saw was even more shocking than what I expected, I had dragon-like wings!

"Oh Man!" I cried out. "This can't be so. I don’t want to be a little midget dragon all my life. I WANT TO BE HUMAN!" Then something shiny came down from the ship. It was a mirror of sorts. I was still in a state of shock but I walked over to it in an odd sort of way. I looked in the mirror and fainted.

I woke up the next morning in my bed. I quickly jumped out and looked in my mirror. "I'm me again. That must have just been a dream. Pretty cool dream though." I thought to myself.

After I came back up from breakfast I went upstairs to check the news before going to school. There was snow, two inches of snow to be precise, and icy roads. I looked outside and saw nothing but falling snowflakes. School was out today, which meant that I had a lot of time to stay at home and think.  After playing on the computer for a while I put on my jacket and went outside. My little brother was playing in the snow behind the house so I decided to walk to the back of our land.

I trudged along until the house was a far piece away and I sat down in the snow.  I started thinking about my dream again, about how vivid it was. I began to wonder how I had gotten in my bed this morning, I didn’t remember coming back inside. Perhaps I went to sleep in my bed last night and only dreamt of sitting on the roof.

"Yeah that has to be it, besides, you can’t have a perfectly clear night with a snowstorm the next day." I said to myself. With that out of the way I started to think of my scenario again, One where I have the power to become a neopet, particularly a desert shoyru, and be able to hold out my hand and call any item from neopets.com to appear. Sometimes I even made up items that didn’t exist. As I was musing, I started to feel dizzy, I started to see things clearly that were far away, I started to feel colder as my jacket somehow disappeared. I started to get... SMALLER! I found that I was again in that strange form. I looked to my sides, there were two red and orange, dragon-like wings. I looked at my feet. My foot was long, with something golden where my toes should be. I looked behind me, my tail, yes, MY TAIL, had something else that was golden around the end. My ears were completely gone, though strangely I could still hear.  My arms were short, and there was some kind of pharaoh’s hat on my head. There was no doubt about it and I wasn't dreaming. I had become a desert shoyru.

I sat there for a second, I was more than a bit perplexed, then I started thinking, wondering if the rest of my scenario had been turned into reality, I held out my hand, a bit shakily, and said, "Cool Negg!” Nothing happened. "Oh well, I wonder if I can become anything else." I thought. Then I concentrated for a moment and I started to grow bigger. My body stretched, until I was about 4.5 feet long and 2.5 feet high, my legs became longer and my jaw stretched outward. Blue hair started to grow all over me, and my hat disappeared. When I was finished I looked quite like a wolf. I was a blue lupe.

"Hey, this is pretty neat. I can become any neopet, just like in my scenario, too bad I can’t call items." I said aloud to myself. I was a bit surprised that it came out in my voice, even when I was something other than myself. Then an awful thought struck me, "What if I can’t turn back into my own self?" Panicked at this thought I started concentrating on my own true form. I started standing upright and my jacket re-appeared. I rushed to the water, which was now frozen. I broke a hole in it and waited for the water to clear. I was myself indeed, just the same as when I left the house. I decided not to show this ability to anyone. I didn't want to start being chased down by scientists or be mistaken for a demon or something of that sort.

Over the next few weeks I went to a small grove in the woods nearby that I knew of and started practicing flying as a shoyru. It took me a while but I finally got used to it. I would always check to make sure there wasn't anyone around before I transformed. Flying was really easy, after a good bit of training I discovered that I hardly needed my wings for speed, I needed them for lift and control, but thrust was provided from something else, that I couldn’t explain if I tried.

Days passed, I had become quite skilled at some of the shoyru’s natural abilities, like the shoyru inferno for instance. I was walking to the grove about mid afternoon one day and started my routine search of the area around, when something really strange happened. There in the air in front of me was some kind of grayish vortex. I decided to leave but the gray vortex followed me. I was about to transform and fly away when it caught me. I fell through it. I descended for a long time in a strange place that reminded me of some kind of Star Trek wormhole.

When I finally landed there was nothing unusual about the place I was. It seemed to be just an ordinary road close to a construction zone. I was still human, so I didn’t worry about hiding. I saw a group of five people walking toward me. Something seemed strangely familiar about all this. When they saw me they stopped and asked me who I was and why I was just standing there alone at that time of night. I looked up and there was the night sky. Another perfectly clear night sky just like the one… I quickly snapped out of my daydream and told them that my name was Jay, and that I wasn’t sure exactly why I was there. They looked at me a bit strangely and then introduced themselves. I fell over in shock. There was Jake, his friend Marco, his cousin Rachel, and her friend Cassie, and a kid that Jake met at school named Tobias. This was a little bit odd, meeting characters from a book I read. Of course it was also weird that I had been secretly becoming a neopet for the past few weeks. They asked if I would like to accompany them on their way home if I was going that way. Still a bit stunned I accepted.

We took a shortcut through the construction zone. Jake was really tense, looking for hoodlums no doubt, and Tobias was watching the sky. I personally was gazing at the stars with a completely different thought in my mind. I was still trying to figure out what the thing was that had caused such a change in me.

Then it happened. I halfway expected it when Tobias pointed out the ship coming down from space. I knew what it was before it landed. Indeed this place was exactly like the book, Animorphs. Out came an Andalite, or more accurately, Elfangor. All this blew the others away, and for the first time in my life I was not surprised by the weirdness. “I would be guessing that you are Elfangor.” I said without thinking. Immediately he made a sudden move to try to threaten me, but collapsed halfway.

I suppose I should clear up a few things for you in case you don’t have a clue of what I am talking about. The book series Animorphs is about a group of five kids who I have already introduced to you, who meet up with a creature called an Andalite, which is like a combination of a blue centaur with two extra eyes on top of stalks on his head and a scorpion tail. The Andalite in the book told them of an invasion that was going on by these other aliens that had the ability to take over one’s mind, called Yerks. The yerks controlled giant centipede like creatures called taxxons and bladed troops called hork bajar, as well as many humans. The Andalites  possess the technology to be able to morph into another form. There is only one yerk who managed to possess an Andalite. He is named Visser Three.

<I sense no hatred within you, how do you know me?> He said to all of us.

The others started looking around to try to figure this out, but I knew that he was using thought speech, which is like telepathy.

“I am from some…other place where I have read of this event before and I know all of the war going on between your people and the…enemy.  To prove my story, I know of your connection with Tobias and of your bout with the Visser in an odd little mini-universe.”

<Ellimist?> He questioned.

“No, but I know of them, or perhaps it is him.” I explained.

Elfangor looked at me and gave me one of those impossible to define smiles, and then started explaining the whole subject to everyone else. Then he sent Jake in to get the blue cube that would give us morphing powers and had us use it. As I put my hand on it I heard him say to me, <I trust you.>

Everyone touched the box and their hands started to glow blue. At least everyone else’s hands did. My hands flashed and gave off a brilliant greenish color, and it happened. After it was done everyone, including Elfangor started to stare down at me. I looked down at my hands, which were now the color of the golden desert sands. I saw my feet had become those of a shoyru also. I realized that I had transformed somehow without thinking about it. I had to stop and explain what I was. Luckily the enemy ships were not anywhere to be seen. I decided to turn back to a human so I closed my eyes and concentrated. Usually the transformation takes 2 to 3 seconds. That time it didn’t happen at all. I couldn’t turn back into a human!

Then the enemy ships started descending, we all ran for cover. Luckily I had greatly improved my speed on foot from all my training so we got to a safe place to watch just in time. It was just as it was in the book, I wanted to help so much but I knew that my inferno would do nothing against the giant beast that was Visser three in morph. We ran, or more accurately speaking they ran and I flew. One of the following hork bajar nearly got a hold of Tobias, but I stopped it with a shoyru inferno. Tobias was fine and we all met at Cassie’s farm the next day. There was no doubt with any of the others that it was true that the events had happened after I gathered them together. I found that I could use thought speech if needed after touching that box, but I personally preferred speaking aloud.

In the meeting they all decided that they wanted to carry out the task at hand, and I explained to them in detail what was going on, and what had happened to me. I decided to leave early. I was a bit depressed that I couldn’t become human again, and also that I wasn’t even in my own world. I found a grove in the nearby woods; similar to the one I spent countless hours training in. I was hungry, very hungry; I hadn’t eaten since yesterday’s lunch. I started to think back on all my old scenarios. With a kind of lighthearted chuckle I held out my hand and jokingly said, “Cool Negg”. There appeared in my hand an orange egg shaped fruit that was about the size of a pear and had sunglasses on. I was surprised, this was an actual cool negg! I ate it, and immediately I started to feel stronger, quicker, and much tougher. The negg actually worked, and it tasted pretty good too.

All the others decided to go to The Gardens to acquire morphs. I just stayed at the grove and practiced my weapons. I didn’t want to cause too much trouble. For many hours I tested my abilities. I spent much time thinking back to my computer days and trying to recall what items there were. I remembered during that time what would become one of my most valuable items, the camouflage potion. In this place it would turn me invisible for thirty minutes.

All the others got back and we made out a plan to attack the yerk pool, the place where the yerks fed in the artificial rays of energy similar to what their own sun would give them. It was one of their only weaknesses because they would have to exit their host to feed. I guess I should have remembered the price that Tobias would pay for this mission, but that is all in my past and there is nothing I can do about it now, it all worked out for the better in the long run.

The day we entered was one I will never forget, the book was not even close in describing how scary a place the yerk pool was. Before we got to the main level I softly called out, “Tazzalor’s Cutlass”. In my hand appeared a long curved blade with a pirate hilt. It was a very powerful weapon.

We got down and immediately were noticed. There was a lot of fighting going on, Jake was ripping away with his tiger morph, Rachel was squishing them with the elephant morph, Marco was punching them out as a gorilla, and Tobias was dive bombing them as a hawk. Cassie on the other hand was going around and opening the cages. I was having too good a time, slashing with my sword and blasting with my flames. Then he appeared, Visser three.

<So, some of you survived our attack.> he scowled at us. Then he noticed me, still attacking the lesser enemies. He looked straight at me and said <You are something I have not seen before, I will enjoy dissecting you, since you obviously cant be infested.>

I thought about that for a second. Of course, I have no ears in this body so I can’t be controlled.

Ceasing the small talk he started to morph. The creature he became was huge, it had eight heads and if it was the same thing as was in the book I knew it could shoot fireballs. This gave me a plan. I deactivated the cutlass and under my breath said “Reflectozap 2000” and then, “Grand Lightning Beam”. In my left hand there appeared an object that can only be described as a curved red and black pipe with two spouts on it, one larger than the other. On my other hand there appeared a strange blue symbol that had a stream of light in it. We ran. While the others were heading up the stairs I lagged behind and watched their backs.

<So, you want to be the first to die?> The Visser confronted me. Then he reared back and shot fireballs straight at me from all his heads.

<Not today!> I thought at him, and quickly pulled out the Reflectozap 2000. All the fireballs that were aimed at me suddenly got pulled into the Reflectozap and were shot straight back at Visser three, hitting him at full force. He was hurt bad, unfortunately I knew he would live. On my way out I shot the grand lightning beam at the roof of the stairs to block any followers.

We all got back to our homes when I remembered about Tobias. It had been two hours! He was trapped! I went out looking for him. I found him close to the school sitting in a tree. I could sense a deep sadness, coming from him and I knew I was too late.

<Hey Tobias!> I called, knowing that there might still be controllers around.

<Go away, I just messed up bad. I am trapped as a hawk, was it like this in your books.>  He answered, with a sorrowful tone.

<Come with me to the grove, I will help explain things there.>

We both took flight and I showed him to my spot. He looked around and seemed to like it.

<What is going to happen to me?> He asked.

“You are still going to be a part of the team, an important part in fact. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do for your condition, perhaps in this reality the Ellimist exists and will help you out.”

<Ellimist… That sounds vaguely familiar, could you tell me about him?>

“Sorry, I think it is better left unexplained, I never got to reading his story so there is not much I know about him or perhaps it is them. For now though I think it is best that you adapt to the hawk’s lifestyle. I will assist you if you get into trouble.”

<I guess things will work out, I am tired, I think I’ll go to sleep now.>

With that Tobias spent his first night as a hawk. I felt quite sad for him, I knew how it felt to loose your own body, unfortunately, he wouldn’t be able to fight for a while.

Weeks passed, every day I would eat cool neggs. Tobias became a good friend of mine, and often came along when I went to a nearby cliff to practice breaking boulders. Yes, I said breaking boulders. You see, the cool negg greatly enhances all of the body’s abilities. After long enough one would be able to out pace a fighter jet, and destroy a solid wall with a single punch, not to mention be able to take a lot of hits. I wasn’t quite to that point yet, but I was still strong. Anyway, we were at the cliff training when Tobias suddenly fell off his perch and hit the ground. I suddenly realized that this was because of Aximili, Elfangor’s brother, still trapped in the depths of the ocean sending out a distress call to all in morph who could hear it. Tobias had broken his wing during the fall and was in great pain when he woke up. I immediately called out, “Jade Scorchstone” and a greenish statue of sorts appeared in my hand. I used it on Tobias, healing his wing and we set off to find the others.

We all gathered at the river connected to the ocean. Earlier Cassie had received the directions to the sunken dome from a whale. I thought for a minute before we left trying to think of how I was going to handle swimming. Then I figured it out. I concentrated for a second in the river and started transforming. My wings disappeared and my arms became long and flat. My feet merged with my tail and became a flipper. My hat disappeared and was replaced with a fin. I had become a blue flotsam. For those of you who don’t know, a flotsam is a species that looks a lot like a dolphin, but has the ability to breathe both above and below water. The others, except for Tobias morphed dolphin, and we set off.

After a while, everyone started getting tired. I almost slapped myself before I realized that they couldn’t go 30 miles out to sea without stopping. I had to do something before they all ran out of energy and sank.  I thought for a while and I came up with an idea. It was a strange idea but if I could call neopets furniture, it would work.  I directed all the others to follow me to the surface and I called out “Large wooden table”. There in front of me appeared a table, floating on the water. Marco had a serious laugh about that one. Everyone climbed on demorphed and rested while I pushed them to the area where we needed to be.

We all dived down to where the dome was, entered the water hatch and demorphed. I simply transformed back into a shoyru. Just as the inner door was about to open I remembered what was going to happen and cried out, “Thyoras Tear!”. I activated it and a blue aura surrounded me just as the door opened and Aximili fired a stun blast from his weapon.  The blast bounced off my shield and harmlessly hit the ground. My shield then disappeared and luckily the weapon he was using ran out of power.

“Hi there Aximili, how have you been?” I said, immediately realizing my mistake.

Ax charged at me and nearly cut off my head, but in the time between him about to strike and him about to hit me, I managed to get about five feet away from him.

“Hey, this is cool, I’m actually faster than an Andalite!” I said to myself. Ax realized that he couldn’t catch me if he tried and started asking me questions.

<Who or what are you? How do you know me? How did you go so fast?>

“I am Jay a human, or at least I used to be human before I was exposed to some weird blue light from a huge flying object in my native plane of reality, and then fell into some kind of vortex and transported to this place. Then I met your brother Elfangor who gave us the morphing power to fight the yerks, which had a strange effect on me, causing me to not be able to transform back to human. I know of you from books that I read there. I am so fast because I have been eating cool neggs for the past few weeks.”

There was an explosion. The yerks had found us. Something was wrong, the others should be awake by now. I had to do something fast. I quickly called out my jade scorchstone and woke them all up. I told them that the Andalite was Ax, Elfangor’s brother and that we had to leave NOW! They listened and we all ran for the air hatch. Ax morphed shark, the others morphed dolphin and I became a flotsam. We hurried out of there fast.

Taxxons came swimming after us, the others were outnumbered, there were far more than I had remembered reading about. There were 15 of them against the five of us. I had to think fast, I hoped that I could call items underwater. I thought back to my days of hours and hours of browsing the trading post, and I thought of something. “Dual Flotsam Star Blades!” I yelled out, getting a mouth full of salty water in the process. There I had two large throwing stars. I attacked the nearest taxxon, the blade hit home and came right back to me where I caught it. The battle raged for a good 5 minutes. The others were doing well with their aim and ram technique when it happened.

Something huge hit the water, and it came after us. It was Visser three in morph. The morph was like something out of a horror film, it had what looked like fish tails all over it. We ran. I knew that I couldn’t take this thing if I tried, I was in no position to fight. The others started to get tired and Ax informed us that morph time was running out. The visser was taunting us as we ran and it seemed like there was no hope. Then suddenly something gargantuan hit Visser three. It was a whale, the whale that Cassie had met. Under the high impact the visser ran. I was so happy until they turned and started toward me! I knew that they sensed that I wasn’t natural to the seas. I had to get out of there. I quickly jumped high in the air and transformed. I had to become something with a good wingspan that could fly for a long time, a shoyru would be too small for the strength I had at the time. Out from my back came large feathery wings, my mouth turned into a beak and I grew pointed ears. My skin turned into green fur and feathers, and I grew four lion like claws. I looked almost exactly like a mythical griffin. I had become a green eyrie. I flew high quickly and out of the way of the whale. I heard comment below of how beautiful the sound was. I knew what was happening, the whale was singing that mysterious tune that could only be heard by the creatures of the sea.  The others caught a ride home from the whale, while I had to fly. I drank a camouflage potion so any beach goers wouldn’t see me, and I flew off to meet Tobias before the others arrived.

“Hi there Tobias, your uncle is coming.”

Tobias seemed to jump three feet into the air and almost flew off, except he recognized my voice and calmed down.”

<Where are you, I cant see you anywhere.> He remarked.

I realized that I was still invisible and became a shoyru again, hoping that would wear off the effects.

Tobias seemed even more surprised to see me appear out of nowhere, and he asked me, <What do you mean my uncle>

I realized my mistake and quickly said, “Oh, nothing, just please forget about it. The others are coming back.”

We waited for a while and they all swam back to the place where we were sitting and demorphed.

We had a discussion about what was going on, and we introduced Ax to everyone. Ax was a bid shocked about Tobias being trapped. We had to decide how to get him to the woods.

<If it is all right with you, I would like to acquire a morph of you.> He said to me.

I didn’t have a problem with this, so he came up to me and started trying to acquire my DNA. Suddenly a strange green aura surrounded me and Ax was kicked back. Apparently my body wouldn’t allow anyone to acquire me. After he recovered, Ax acquired human from all the others and did that strange merge morph. I flew off to my grove to rest for the night, and have my dinner, cool negg as usual.

A while passed and the others went to destroy some kind of miniature yerk pool at the hospital. That is when I remembered what was going to happen. The others got back and Jake seemed to be a bit dazed.

“Jelly Net” I said softly and pegged Jake to the ground. Ax was about to tackle me when he realized what had happened. Jake had been taken as a controller. At first the yerk in his head tried to deny it and get me to let him go. Ax was taking Jake’s place at home so no one seemed to miss him. Because of the jelly nets that I kept on him, we had no problems detaining him for the full three-day cycle. At the end the yerk finally died of starvation and left Jake.

Later that week I went to his house under cover of camouflage potion while his brother, Tom, a controller was out.

“Are you feeling okay?”

Jake jumped about three feet in the air and said, “You have got to start warning people before sneaking up on them like that!”

I deactivated the potion’s effects and started talking to him. He told me all about the feeling he had when he had been under the yerk’s control. Then near the end he told me the most disturbing thing that I had ever heard to that point. He said, “After the yerk starved I started to see things in a way that can’t be described. I looked around and there on top of a huge throne was something. It had one eye and no limbs. I could sense great evil and great power within it. It looked straight at me and said in a voice beyond comprehension, I will destroy you, all of you.

I knew of the creature he was describing, it was Crayak, a being that is almost as powerful as the Ellimist, but as evil as a tangible creature gets. In the story, when Jake saw Crayak, it said nothing. It was even scarier that it was after us. I chugged a camouflage potion and flew as quickly as possible to my grove. I stayed there for a while and decided to stay out of the fight for a while.

The others went on a mission down to the yerk pool to try a second attempt to attack. I just stayed around the grove with Tobias and we talked about random things. Suddenly I wasn’t in the grove. I was in the yerk pool cave, except there was nothing moving. It looked a lot different from last time, a lot smaller than I remembered. I looked over and saw Tobias, except he had become human. This was amazing! I looked down at my own hands and they were human as well. I was wearing the exact same clothes that I had worn the day I fell into the vortex that took me here. I approached Tobias and when he saw me he tried to fly away, except he had no wings. I told him that it was just me and he still seemed uneasy.  He seemed to have forgotten what I looked like when we met outside the construction zone.

“Why are you so tense around me, Tobias?” I asked him.

“L-look to your side and you will see.” He told me shakily, still keeping his distance.

I looked to my side and couldn’t believe what I saw. Thought I was fully human everywhere, I had shoyru wings on my back in proportion to my size. I was a Half-human, half-shoyru freak! Then I remembered what happened in the book. The Ellimist was about to appear and had called all the members of the Animorphs and me to tell a riddle in the form of a proposition. When one is in a different form and is called by the Ellimist, they will take a form that shows what they are at heart. I was still mostly human but I had been a shoyru for so long that the form became a natural part of me. The others came out of a door nearby and gathered together with us. I had to do a bit of explaining to them obviously. Then there was a blue mist and… he appeared.

The form he took closely resembled a wise old elf, yet you could tell that he was much more. He was a creature who was beyond the normal 3 dimensional realm and was a great keeper of peace in times of chaos. He was The Ellimist. I did not know it at the time, but he would be an important part in my life, and would even save it at one point.

“Welcome! I have come to make a proposition to you…” He went on about a proposition that I knew was just a way to show the others the exit to the yerk pool. At the end of it after we all voted to not take it and return exactly as we were before being called he turned to me and said in that tone of the ages,  “Jay, I will help you at one point in time here. Remember this well! When the time of crisis comes and all is lost, call upon the powerful armor of the forgotten desert. I will leave for now but this is not the last you will hear from me”

With that I was transported back to where I was before and I was completely a shoyru again. I thought about what the Ellimist had said. I decided to start going on a few missions again.  Hopefully, I could help the others in case all hope was lost.

Many weeks passed and many missions went by. I had decided to stop eating so many cool neggs because the missions started to become too easy and boring. Instead I spent my free days training with Ax or flying around invisibly. One day though we found the location of a transport ship, one of the ships that carried supplies to the yerks in orbit. This one apparently had malfunctioned and was grounded near the base of a nearby mountain. We decided to go in and investigate. It all went well until we became surrounded. It was a quick fight and we might have done better if we had gone in more stealthily, but now there was no way out. The others were taken hostage and put in a cage. I on the other hand was just left standing there, dozens of dracon beams aimed straight at me. I knew that if I used a thyoras tear then it would run out of energy before I would have a chance to escape. I knew that a rod of supernova would take them all out, but by the time I could activate it I would be toast. I needed a miracle to get out of this one. Then I remembered the riddle of the Ellimist. I had one shot at solving this one. The armor of the forgotten desert… Perhaps he was referring to the Lost Desert. The Lost desert has no armor in it! I had to think fast, they were coming closer. Perhaps I should ask what item in the desert could protect. Complete protection and healing would be the jeweled scarab. This had to be it. I had one shot or I would be dead and this place lost.

Armor of the Jeweled Scarab!!!” my voice came out strangely, with an odd echo. Immediately time froze and a blue mist surrounded me. There out of nowhere appeared a shining, golden chest plate with a HUGE jeweled scarab right in the middle of it. On each shoulder was a separate scarab each one flashing, gleaming, and shining in all the colors of the rainbow. The armor slowly came toward me and attached itself to me. I saw the blue mist clear and a golden aura shine around me. Time resumed and the yerks fired. Each beam that was aimed at me swerved upwards and disintegrated in a flash of light. The glow continued and I called out, “Rod of Supernova!”. A reddish rod with a fiery star at the top appeared in my hand. Usually it would be used on one enemy by making a circle with it in front of you and thrusting the rod through the circle. I needed a modification that would make it attack many places at once. I held the rod out in front of me and spun myself in a complete circle, then I slashed my rod upwards to the sky and a brilliant fiery light shot upwards and came crashing down on all the yerks who were attacking. All the while my armor was still giving off that golden glow. I freed my friends and a blue vortex appeared in front of me. This one seemed different from the first one I saw. I heard a voice in my head saying to me, “Jay! Go through the vortex and destroy your enemy. Continue you destiny and prove your name, only then will you find your way home.” I immediately ran and jumped head on straight through the vortex.

This time instead of going through a long wormhole I went straight to my destination. I was in space, or more precisely I was in orbit above Earth. I was afraid at first that I would die from space exposure, but the armor still glowed brightly, protecting me from the elements. There right in front of me was the blade ship, a huge ship that resembles a battle-axe. It is also the home of Visser three. I knew what I had to do. I called out the two weapons that I thought might destroy the ship if used correctly. I called out loudly, but there was no sound. Of course, space has no air to produce sound. I needed the items fast. Then I had an idea.

<Golden Butter Knife!>, <Tazzalor’s cutlass> I thought out loudly. The ship turned and fired at me, but the thought speech had worked. The blast bounced off the armor and in one of my hands there appeared a cutlass. In the other hand appeared a small golden butter knife. This may have seemed a foolish choice, but I knew how powerful that thing was.

I flew toward the ship using that mysterious propulsion, and strangely enough I could still control my direction with my wings.
