2007-2008 Tryout Information |
When: April 30 - May 3, 3:15 - 5:00 PM
Where: Theater Patio (to the right of the theater as you walk in from the parking lot)
What to bring:
- A comfortable t-shirt
- Jazz pants or atheletic shorts or pants (no jeans please!)
- Comfortable closed-toed tennis shoes
- Dance shoes (if you have them)
- Water
What to expect:
When you arrive on Monday, the group will be lead in stretches and dance basics and then split into smaller groups where you will work with returning members on flag basics. On Tuesday and Wednesday you will continue learning basics and learn a short routine which you will show on Thursday for the actual tryout. On Thursday, please wear a plain white t-shirt and dark atheletic shorts or pants.
The student/parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 1st at 7:30pm in the band room (room 501). There, you and your parents can ask questions and learn more about what is involved in the activity.
