Pickle Lake Race.
One of the longest races ever flown in Canada. This was an Open race
organized by the Up North Combine.
Fanciers participated from Montreal Ottawa Hamilton and Toronto and
Muskoka.
The birds were released on Sunday morning July 2nd at 6 am.
The first bird to make her way home was Tom Brouwer's bird in
Pickering.
She was clocked at 8.33 am the next morning, beating two birds from Ottawa
by 86 minutes.
Brouwer's loft was the only loft clocking three birds on the second day
The results of Tom
Brouwer's long distance races.
Long distance racing is my passion.
