The Northwind Quilter's Guild is dedicated to charitable and educational purposes. The specific purpose is to further quilting excellence through educational meetings, travel, and freindship and to promote the appreciation of fine quilts and quilt making.

Renee Rankin and Diane Ujioika put on a great Spring retreat. Pam Ventgen from "Quilt Tree" in Anchorage came to Cordova to teach......a good time was had by all.
Good food, good fellowship and great door prizes!!! Look out for the Fall retreat in October 2009.
The Northwind raffle quilt above is made up of twenty northwind quilt blocks. Fabric and block instructions were handed out to the entire quilt guild and members constructed the blocks for a raffle quilt.
The committee of Aleen Brown, Kathleen Kritchen, Diana Rubio and Cece Wiese organized the quilt and Kathleen Kritchen assembled the top.
Diane Henwood from Soldotna quilted and bound the quilt.
The quilt will be raffled off in the future.
